Smarts are not defined by the grade we receive on a test. Smartness is defined by how we decide to live our lives. Devoting our lives to studying constantly just to get an A is studious but not smart. Smart is creating a balance in your life where you can be both happy and healthy.
Therefore there is no smartest person. Yes, I know someone who is top of my class but he is definitely not the smartest person I know. Everyone is smart in their own unique way, regardless of grades or class rank.
