I just finished losielette, found it in the competition you entered. But I'm confused. Did you re-write the book? Its no longer completed so I'm not sure if that was the definite ending. And there is no second book so unless you putt them into the same book I'm really confused.love the book though.
I'm sorry I took so long to respond xD It's been put in the same book, spit up to part one, part two and part three. It's like that because I thought it wouldn't be long enough to expand into three books but I was wrong apparently xD
I started reading losielette a few days ago and caught up and I luv it! lol but I wanted to ask u why does losielette have to kiss everyone or better yetwhy does everyone have to kiss losielette?? Its like theyall get a turn at her or sumthing. it feels like a cheap way for drama like why?
Umm... I don't know what you mean by everyone? She's kissed two guys and thats in the space of her entire life >__> I don't feel that's a lot, or at least,not a patch on some other romance books I've read. Shadow is her boyfriend, so he's obviously gonna kiss her. If you mean why does he love her I thought that was clearest reason was the paradox thing where she stopped him from killing himself, but there's loads of things other than that, including that she's "pure" where he was "tainted" by a shitty world. If you're unclear of that still then the next chapter is written in Shadow's perspective. Also, the kiss with Reign hasn't caused any "drama" at all. It's the only other kissing scene she has with another guy so I presume you must be talking about that. If you wait till the update you'll see that the incident drives them closer and drives Shadow to make a really big commitment to her, so give me some time to write.
Also, regarding the Reign scene. It wasn't like "eep! Lets make Losie and Reign kiss cuz fangirls!" Reign was really messed up there because Penny fucked with his head. He did say this himself, but she multiplied a desire he had to get revenge on Shadow because Harliquinn liked him, and the end result was he took it out on Losielette, like basically take the girl I love and I'll I take yours. I thought it was actually really scary. Like with the control Reign had over her he really could have raped her if he lost his shit too much. As the reader we know it wasn't Losielette's fault, and I don't feel she would be attacked if he had done that. It wasn't meant to be romantic or "to create drama," he really intended to hurt her.

why don't u split losielette into 3 separate books on wattpad so ppl won't be as discouraged by the length
Well, I would, but it was just due to the way I was writing when I started it three years ago. I didn't think I would be able to write three full length books when I started because my first book was only about 50 wattpad pages. But as I went on my writing filled out, and now.I wouldn't like to.delete them and gets rid off all the votes and reads I've earned over the years.

I was 17 when I first started the chapter and my boyfriend is 22, so understandably we weren't going to until it was legal. But since the chapter took me a good three months to write because it's difficult nature, things change over time.

About how long do you think Part 3 of Losielette is going to be?
Oh god. You know I am so bad at judging these things; my chapters always turn out waaay longer than expected. When I first started the series, I reckoned that the whole thing, all three books, would be struggling to make 100 wattpad pages. Boy was I wrong >__> Nah, but I reckon about 60 more wattpad pages. Knowing me it could be longer, but that's what I kinda want, no more, no less. If the third part was completed at about 110 wattpad pages, same as the last book, Id be happy. I think that's what I'm aiming for. There's been a lot of backstory in the third part so far which I'm not keen on, but come next chapter,
I don't have an inherent preference for longer or shorter chapters for Losielette, and all I really prefer is that you keep writing :)
Ahaha, thank you! The benefit of shorter chapters is that I can update for you guys more frequently, which I'd like, because not only do 7000 word chapters take a hell of a long time to write, they take a hell of a long time to edit, which is why my updates can take so long sometimes. But I don't like updating if I feel it isn't going to be an exciting chapter! I've decided that if there's a logical place to split what Im writing, I'm going to do that, but if not, and something exciting is happening, Im just going to keep on going no matter what the length. I do update not as much as other wattpad writers, but when you think about it, I tend to update the same amount as they achieve in a month, just in one go. But more frequent updates help my story get noticed more, and I love the idea of telling it to as many people as possible. Thank you so much for your feedback! :)

My plan is to finish it, then write another book, something completely different so I can hone my skills further because my writing just seems to improve the more I do it. When I'm ready to go back to it, I think the first book needs a complete rewrite to even be able to be considered publishing. The second is not so bad; it more needs fixing up for sloppy writing. And I've just started the third.
So yes, the ambition is publishing, but its gonna take some time yet before its ready.

Well, there was a few different stimuli. First of all, before the story was created, I decided I want to name my next MC Losielette. Then I watched an anime movie called the Girl Who Leapt Through Time. My first ever wattpad book, a werewolf story, sucked ass so I was looking to start something new, and watching this movie made me think I should write a time travel book. At the time, I was really into the band Florence and the Machine (I still am) When I was listening to them, I was thinking about how much I loved their band title; it's sorta a mix of flowery and mechanical. Then, out of nowhere, the title Losielette and the Boy with the mechanical Heart came to me. But then I was like, why would someone with such an old fashioned name be with someone with a mechanical heart? Then bingo. He's a time traveller x3 There was no planning, I was so excited I started writing the first chapter within ten minutes of getting the idea

How do you write your books? How have you developed that writing style? What do you use to help you?
What I tend to do is write a sort of basic skeleton first. Some parts I struggle to write, so I just write a few crappy sentences so I don't dwell on it and get stuck, then I go add more detail when I'm feeling more inspired. Then when I'm done the entire chapter I'll mess about with the sentence structure until it sounds as fluent as I can manage. In terms of developing my style, the only real change in my writing is that when I first started the book I was a bit over the top and over wrote things, but that cooled down as I improved x3 I don't use anything to help me write the way I do, that's just my natural voice really, but in terms of writing rituals I usually listen to music about an hour before I start writing. My best writing normally occurs between 11 pm and 6 am xD
