Are there any commonly occuring translations that irk you when you see them?

Off the top of my head...
"Hai" = "Yes"
"Shikata ga nai" = "It can't be helped"
"Sou iwaretemo" = "Even though you say that"
These are all roughly correct translations, but they're also lazy translations, since the meaning is fluid when it comes to context.
"Baka" always being translated to idiot sometimes annoys me, since there are so many colourful ways to insult someone's intelligence in English that never comes through in anime dialogue: moron, imbecile, simpleton, fool, etc.

i don't consider myself a part of any particular fandom at the moment. i am fans of things but don't do fandom stuff besides maybe shitposting on twitter. also my favourite anime of 2016 was Kimi no Na wa
