Out of the Pokemon you can catch in Go so far who do you like and not like?

I have caught 156 Drowzees so far. I am so sick of that fat flan fucker and the stupid finger wiggle it does.... but the XP calls to me

Do you have any DnD horror stories to tell?

The scariest thing that comes to mind is seeing Ken Hite doing last-minute research before running a game and hearing him laugh to himself. That's when you know you're six kinds of fucked. So look out for the second chapter of The Dracula Dossier on the One Shot podcast to see how that turned out.

What would be your top piece of advice for a first-time GM?

Listen to your players. They will tell you what they're interested, and if you give it to them you'll have fun. If someone brings a vampire hunter to the table, deliver creepy things that stalk in the night. Your job is to facilitate fun, and work as a team.

I remember you mentioning that you guest starred on another podcast series, I think it was something about a dark city? Can you link it?

That doesn't ring a bell, so let''s run down some of my guest appearances and hope it does for you?
Alcohollywood: I've been on this show more than any other. You can find me on the episodes for Redline, Ravenous, Big Trouble in Little China, Virtuosity, Paprika, Hard Candy, Silent Hill, Mothra vs Godzilla, The Breakfast Club (also featuring my wife), Sucker Punch, and O Brother Where Art Thou?. I guess Virtuosity has a dark city? Maybe? http://www.alcohollywood.com/
OneShot: This is an actual play podcast that almost exclusively does single sessions. (They have a sister show called Campaign that I really love but have never been on). Their fans include a dedicated wiki community to handle my linking for me. I guess the Vancouver of Headspace was pretty dark in a cyberpunk heisty way? And the Dracula Dossier session was mostly a vampire-infested night in Prague. http://one-shot.wikia.com/wiki/General_Ironicus
Blastropodcast: A comedy science show featuring Dottore Balordo, man of SCIENCE! I was on episode 25 talking about evolution, and episode 30 talking about volcanoes and earthquakes. No dark cities whatsoever. http://blastropodcast.com/?offset=1409230248803
Blurry Photos: A supernatural/cryptid/conspiracy/other weirdness show. I was on the December Bullstone episode talking about a time traveling reckless driver, Swedish goat arson, and my dream job. They talk about dark cities sometimes, but not the time I stopped by: http://www.blurryphotos.org/bullstone-12-general-ironicus-dec-2015/
Our Fair City: I'm not on this, but it's the first thing that comes to mind first when I think of podcasts I've plugged with a dark city. Maybe I'll be involved one day, which I would be over the moon for. It's a post-apocalyptic comedy/character drama that does everything I love with mixing up tones and following through to conclusions. They're between seasons right now so there's time to chew through it: http://www.ourfaircity.com/
I hope something in there helps!

I heard a lot about this DnD biz and went to look up your grand adventure but all I found was dead links. Did I miss out..... permanently? Or is there a backup some place? :'|

there's an archive around somewhere but I don't care to go looking for it. We recently outsourced the work of re-editing all the old stuff into a new streamlined format and the first episode is here: http://www.sixfeatsunder.com/lets-play-dungeons-dragons-encapsulated/
I wouldn't recommend it though! The amount of people who still talk about this campaign means there must have been something good about it, but listening back to this tells me it sure wasn't in the first five sessions!
I'd suggest literally any other series on that site in its place. We're still populating it with the backlog, but everything is available on our podbean page in the meantime: http://feats.podbean.com/
Let's Play the 13th Age is GMed by me with a great cast and a story page to help you jump into any point in its multi-year run: http://www.sixfeatsunder.com/13th-age-the-rogue-elements/story
InSpectres is our most recent one-shot game, with a great turn from Panzer and Drakkel and one of my favorite review quotes "I didn't come into this expecting heavily-implied yeti fucking, but I was pleasantly surprised." http://www.sixfeatsunder.com/inspectres/
Night Witches is maybe our most serious game, but was also one of my favorites to play: http://feats.podbean.com/category/night-witches/
I could say the same about Ehdrigohr, which features special guest Austin Walker: http://feats.podbean.com/category/ehdrigohr/
World Wide Wrestling is one of my favorite RPGs and in our intermittent mini-series I got the change to both GM and play: http://feats.podbean.com/category/world-wide-wrestling-rpg/

hello! i am about to run a Last Stand game on roll20 after listening to Six Feats Under; are there any tricks you might know that might help?

Google maps and helicopter photography are a great resource for making your city maps. When you're planning out the battlefield, it's more interesting to make zones of related areas and geography than to slap a grid on the ground. Have fun!

Do you think that, wherever he is, whatever he's doing, Gibnaf Boneson is still Friend of Crab?

Gibnaf is always friend to crab, fish, and bird. Don't forget he met Bananaramawicz before finding the party, and it had more of an impact than we first thought. I like to think Gibnaf grew a handsome mustache, hung a picture of crab on the wall, and became king of dad jokes later in baronhood.

How do you LP like you're running out of time? How do you podcast like you're running out of time? How do you DM like you're running out of time? How do you LP like it's going out of style? How do you podcast like it's going out of style? How do you DM like it's going out of style?

I am, and it is.

So when the current 13th Age campaign is over, are you guys thinking of doing a new campaign or doubling down on the Bonus Feats?

We have a few prospective new campaigns, but nothing that's going to take more than two years again. It's just too much.
