Have you ridden tackless before? How was it? Why did you do it? Did you teach your horse? Was it easy or hard? Any tips on how to teach it? Do you wear a helmet? Why or Why Not?
I have ridden tackless before, it really connects you with your horse. And no, it wasn't easy at all, you use a lot of leg muscle for cues and get sore usually lol. I just started riding them in a bit or halter bareback and teaching them to respond to leg cues rather than mouth pressure. Yes, I always wear a helmet unless something prevents me from doing so, because it's always better to be safe than sorry.
