Do you come from a rich family?

No, I come from a normal, humble family that has enough. I myself work alongside my art, and still go to school to have a career in the medical field within the next few years. I prefer this life, because at least I get to appreciate everything I have, even the small things. I wasn't raised with much, so whatever I have now is a blessing to me.

To have a behind the scenes to see how you work to have those wonderful foto's and videos would be awesome.. Is that possible for you to do?

Thank you!
I actually have 2 playlists on my YouTube with "Behind The Scenes" videos and more. :)

what kind of advice would you give other models to get to where you are?

The most basic one would be to only do what you're comfortable with and go from there. It is important to step out of your comfort zone, but not to the point where you are doing what you hate. Only if you're truly and deeply motivated to do so, should you drop your comfort veil and step further.
Learn to say No and to make good decisions from the start of your career or work. It will save you lots of trouble in the future. Basically, be honest with yourself about what you are comfortable with doing and what you want to achieve. I say this to all artists, not just models. :)

Hi Foroogh! I'm a really big fan of yours and I love what you do! I just wanted to ask, around what age did you get interested in Goth subculture and what got you into it?

Thank you so much!
I got into this subculture when I was only 15. At first the fashion and art attracted me towards it. Artists like Victoria Francés truly inspired me and pulled me more towards this subculture.
I don't consider myself a proper Goth, but my style is definitely inspired by it.

How do you deal with haters? I just recorded my first video and other than a few hateful comments I have received no positive feedback...

I don't.
You don't have to deal with them. ;) Being an artist is not about pleasing the few that will never be pleased. It's abut expressing yourself. Keep up the great work and focus on what matters. In no time you will learn that you lose precious time trying to deal with those who don't matter.

do you have the courage to go out with no make up on ? I mean no make up at all :)

I do that sometimes, since I don't always have the time or energy to put on makeup. I love makeup art, so, often when I do it, I take my time and take a while to finish. It's also great for the skin to get some fresh air without anything in its way.

Do you smoke or have you ever smoked cigarettes or anything else (cigars, weed, e-cig, hookah etc.)?

I don't smoke anything, no. I have smoked hookah in the past as it is a family/gathering tradition where I come from. I'm generally concerned about my health as a dancer and a person who loves to sing. I need my lungs for both of those things.
I just vape, nicotine free. Pure VG (Vegetable Glycerin).

Hey there (: Just watched some of your older videos... In one you said, that after two years you quit your bellydance school and moved on yourself - so my question is: did you find help from your mom, friends, youtube videos etc. to go on and develope your style? Were were movements left to learn?

I never really attended any proper class. I tried one class that consisted of going to the same class two or three times a week, doing the exact same moves and the exact same steps over and over for some reason. I decided that it was not for me. I don't mean all classes, but those kinds of classes.
Since back then I was not able to find a teacher that inspired me to learn the style of bellydance that I liked, I decided to teach myself from scratch. And to try and create new things...
I also watched great bellydancers such as Zoe Jakes. I also tried to learn from their moves and incorporate their movements with my own to create different movements, with different emotions to match the songs that I danced to. Mainly metal and alternative music.
So I can say that ever since I started bellydancing, I was never really trained at all. I learned everything that I learned from different dancers that I admire. If I know something today, it's because I watched those great dancers and I tried to create something new inspired by their movements. Inspired by the music that I was listening to. And inspired by my own emotions and the natural ways that my body moves to the music that I love.

Are people ever surprised when they learn you are from Iran? I think you could easily pass for Italian, or even a Central European goth girl. Many Americans know nothing about the Middle East and believe Iran = Iraq (and not = Persia) = home of Arabs, who are all brown-skinned Muslim terrorists etc.

Not really, they are not that surprised when I tell them that I am Iranian. I do look Iranian, especially to other Iranians. Although I do have a mix of Azerbaijani and Arabic in me. Even though some people's extreme ignorance about Iran and the Middle East in general confuses me, I can only say that there are good and bad people in every path, culture and background. Those with such ignorance simply need to be educated a little better.
