Change your tumblr theme, its kinda lame.

Yeah I'm looking for alternative themes I know my current one is a bit boring! But I just am not sure what to change it to and the one i have right now is a fine default with no real downsides. I'm looking trust me.

What is your favorite children's story?

I'm going to assume this is referring to fairy tales and such and not stories directed at children and young audiences that are like, novels. With that in mind, I can't pin down any specific ones but i had this big book of a bunch of thomas the tank engine stories i liked as a kid.

Who had the biggest influence on you as a kid?

To be honest, I have no idea. I moved around so much when I was young it's hard to pin down a specific singular influence. The stuff that stayed with me when I moved, my family, didn't really influence me as much as a combination of all my friendships through the years did.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

I'd probably say the ability to communicate and have a good sense of humour. Inability to communicate on the part of my ex-girlfriend is part of what led to our break up, so I guess that's a significant one. (this also applies to men not just women)

What was the best meal you’ve ever eaten?

I'd probably say that would have to be from back when I lived in the USA. I remember distinctly I had an absolutely wonderful clam chowder when I was young at some restaurant in Rhode Island. Given I was really young, I think I mostly liked it because of the croutons though.

What is your attitude to human cloning?

Cloning, in terms of its social effects in regards to specifically human cloning, could have very significant implications. From a genetic perspective, it's the same as identical twins. However, on another level, it raises complications based on how it is done. If cloning produces adults that come out of lab conditions, there would be know knowledge they have assuming its a purely genetic clone. It could be vastly insightful into the uninfluenced nature of human behaviour at an adult stage. On the other hand, it raises a number of ethical concerns. A person who has no knowledge of what to do or how to communicate could very easily endure a lot of social suffering as a result.
On the other hand, if the clone includes a mental copy of the individual's mind, thus making them identical, I feel like it would be extremely unethical except in the situations where it may be necessary to restore someone from death in critical situations where it is known that the person would prefer to be alive. Add this to the fact that the body could be produced to be younger, and be more healthy by being grown in lab conditions, it opens up the doors to an indirect method of achieving immortality of the mind, which again, raises several more severe ethical complications.
Ultimately, I feel like cloning could be a significant step forward for medical practice and treatment as well as anthropological and psychological study, but is something that the world will need to think deeply about before approaching it and allowing its widespread use.
