With this whole Sheldon situation, started with a parent "recruiting" someone to go to Sheldon. Correct? Isn't that legal as long as the coach doesn't do so? Parents are titled to their own opinion and have the right to say that don't they?

Very good question, but if AAU is involved, then it gets dicey. Parents should not be trying to lure kids from one school to another. That's when chaos starts.

Do you think Cordova has chance to make the playoffs in football next year ?

Cordova has amazing tradition but it has to get more numbers out for football to compete. The first step is producing a winning record

What do you think of Noah blackwells anger towards only being named an honorable mention? I have to say I think it was rightfully awarded. Obviously a fantastic player, one of the best in the area. But star players win games for their teams, and his team was mediocre this season. So honorable mentio

Noah Blackwell's frustration means he's a competitor, and he wanted to be on one those teams. He understands that a cut-off for All-Metro teams - a tie-breaker of sorts - is teams who go to the playoffs and have success in the playoffs get those All-Metro team nods. Woodcreek just missed out. He'll come back better than ever next season. And there's this - with 100 schools in our area, getting any sort of All-Metro honor is just that - an honor.
