Sometimes. Zeldathon since Zeldathon Adventure has been developing at a rapid rate. Back before then, we really felt grassroots.
There were tons of negatives to stuffing 30 friends into a small area for a week, but at Pokéthon, I remembered why it was so fun. We all put our best foot forward, and through all the tough emotions, fought hard for every penny being donated to the charity. Nowadays, we have so many people, so much room, we can go at our own pace and raise tons more money.
To this, I have nostalgia for it. I always love sitting on a couch with friends and playing a game for charity. Whether it is in a ballroom, a conference room, my living room, or even a tiny bedroom, I have infinite love for the idea of gaming for charity.
Also, your favorite Zeldathon is ARC? Phew, looking back on that one is hard, very early days of improving our stream quality. Audio balances were off, tech issues, lack of schedule. We've come so far, but being able to look back at all that we've been through is very fun.
