I don't understand why Kang is a bad match-up for Sceptile. It looks like it outspeeds an OHKO with many moves. Is it because of Fake Out?

Fake Out is certainly a big deal. But Sucker Punch is also a big problem. Sceptile is one of the most frail megas in the game ang Kangjust has too many checks to it in Fake Out and Sucker Punch. Not to mention its just too bulky to 1HKO.

2 questions Battle spot ranking/How long till you hit #1;) And you are forced to make a competitive team with Swadloon. How do you do it?

Omg. I don't think I'll hit #1 this season. Getting top 10 is enough for me. And making a team with Swadloon? I'd have to hit the books and try to make some kinda cool gimmick.

How did you actually work with that Mega-Sceptile team? I tried making one a month ago and although it had balance I could never get it to work against other pokemon like kangaskhan

Honestly the reason I did so well was probably because its my favorite mega and ive been using it in events since December. But Mega Kang is your worst matchup by far and I made a huge gamble bringing Mega Sceptile to this event. I paired Sceptile with a few Pokemon that I feel check Kang pretty hard. Arcanine/Cress/Gastrodon. The way I see it, if Kang wanted to come anywhere near my Sceptile it need to take out these 3 first. I always had a last ditch Focus Blast from Mega Sceptile too lol. But I would never use it unless I had no choice.

What are the best ice types for VGC2015?

Mamoswine is far and away the best ice type in VGC right now. It has a great move pool, wonderful base stats, and a super defensive ability. Second best would probably Mega Amomasnow, but imo it's not really worth the mega slot. Because VGC is all about being defensive you rarely see Ice types in competitive play. They just have too many weaknesses. Most of the time you just see bulky Water types use Ice Beam to make up it.

You've said Heatran is one of the best Pokemon, does that still hold up in the 2015 season?

I personally think Heatran is better than most megas atm. I plan on using him for the rest of the 2015 season.

Do you think weather teams are viable in the current meta?

Right now weather is only good in doubles. Specifically rain and sun teams. The amount of stability weather teams have under pressure is what gives them a fighting chance. They are also relatively easy to play, making them great for newer players.

What would be a good team just to stomp the battle maison in oras for bp? right now im riding on a flame orb physical sweeper swellow with facade and a ludicolo / mega gardevoir. i think that could be better tho.

Old school Earthquake/Discharge is my battle mansion start. I feel that AoE moves are almost always the way to go when playing doubles. For singles it's a different matter. I think priority moves or strong moves from fast Pokemon are the way to go. Stuff like banded Talonflame, and Scarfed Pokemon using 120+ base power moves, that's a great start, Oh and don't forget to always bringing a Focus Sash user. Sets like these are staples for those types of battles.

Most underrated Pokemon that you think can do well in OU?

There are two ways I can answer this question. I can think of a ton of Pokemon who aren't quite OU but can still make a big impact. Suicune, Darmanitan, Cresselia. These are all examples of Pokemon who work great in OU but are in a tier or two below it. Then you have option two. What Pokemon is actually the most underrated threat to the OU metagame? My answer is Cinccino. Believe it or not I think Cinccino is actually a great Pokemon in any team comp. Thanks to its hidden ability Skill Link, Cinccino can actually tear through teams when holding a Kings Rock. Since all your moves hit 5 times its almost an auto flinch. And since OU has become full of walls Cinccino out speeds almost every common Pokemon. Next time you think about playing OU be sure to include a Cinccino in your team. You won't be disappointed.

Do you also like his Dream Ball Aegislash? :^)

At the time I was against it. I hate all forms of hacks so hearing that he was using a Pokemon that technically couldn't exist made me sad. After cooling off I realized he still did the 2 rounds of eggs to get an egg, and ev trained/leveled it himself so it's not like he is a person who needs to hack to win or anything. He's just a regular guy who had some help with getting perfect breeding parents. If he wants to make his teams like that it's fine with me. I'll still stay 100% legit though ;)

Who is your favorite VGC champion? What's your favorite team of theirs?

Ray Rizzo. I don't particularly care for his teams much though. Just not my style. I like him mostly because it's super hard to take games off him. He's a real competitor, that's for sure.
