We'll try! As of now we're still mostly chugging with CGs/BGs. New sprite stuff is looking really good so far though, trying to decide between showing the roughs or waiting for something a bit more polished.

im trying to avoid thinking about that fact hue. that being said, def gonna be shooting for more regular blog posts, hopefully at least one a month til fs comes out (dont take that as gospel). lots of stuff happening lightning fast so ideally there should be a good amount to show off/discuss.

Hey, quick idea for Twofold. I just thought while I was playing another VN, "I wish I could view all the sprite work without having to open the whole game up." Then it hit me - something to add to the extras like a CG menu, but with the game's sprites! Would it be doable?
i'll ask and see if we can do that. the thing about tf's sprites though is that the paper style and how we did things in general makes it so that theyre really at their best against some sort of backdrop so im not sure how aesthetically pleasing that would be as a standalone gallery thing. will look into it.

there will be some things that give you a little extra information about certain characters but not required in the slightest, fs and tf both stand on their own p. well
I mean, not to be rude but I'd say that May update - December update is a bit 'paced' already! Either way, I'm happy the project is still going so I'll be patient.
i get you. we've been working on fs for a year or so already so we had to go completely silent for a while cuz we didn't want to spoil it early. we also don't want to discuss everything right out the gate either--twofold sorta suffered from that, where we showed too much too soon and as a result posts became few and far between. dont wanna make the same mistake with fs.

the ui changes color based on the season (demo ui colors were fall, blue is winter) but you can set the color manually as an option if you want

a lot of characters from twofold will not be making an appearance in first snow. since its about eileen+allison you can probably guess which characters you'll end up seeing.
twofold itself is progressing better than it has been recently, though hiccups are still there. we're in the middle of trimming a lot of its fat and streamlining it. past that, first snow is at the stage in development where any work towards it will also directly benefit twofold, due to the sharing of assets (the only exception being cgs, obv)
