How to prevent bullying in a non-Pozzed manner?
Bullying is pretty much entirely the result of negligent parenting. Not that I'm pointing fingers here; in our age, negligent parenting is pretty much mandatory. To avoid exposing your child to bullying:
1) DO NOT send your child to a public school. "They won't learn to socialize if you don't!", you'll hear. But the "socialization" they learn in school is just as useless in the real world as every other time-wasting thing they learn in public school. In the real world anyone who, past their sophomore year in college, socializes the same way that they did in high school, is going to have a very hard time of things. But most especially, learning to "deal with bullies" is useless. In the real world, if someone verbally "bullies" you, you tell them to fuck off, and if they don't, you call the police; if someone physically "bullies" you, well, that's what concealed-carry permits are for.
2) Do not allow your children to use social media. Children have nothing worth saying anyway, so nothing is lost in preventing it. In addition, anonymity allows people to act in ways they wouldn't in the real world. Some of that is positive and some of that is negative, but children are not prepared to deal with it either way. In fact, do not allow your children unfiltered/unsupervised access to the internet at all. Don't introduce them to the internet until it benefits them that you should, then start with strict limits on it that you slowly loosen on as you feel they've reached the point that they can handle new things. When they've reached adulthood (which is YOUR call; not theirs, and not the state's), remove the restrictions altogether.

This is, roughly, the Nick B. Steves method of child-raising. I've met all eight of his kids, including the two that have reached adulthood. It works. It produces interesting, well-balanced, psychologically-stable adults. We would all do well to imitate it.
