hello !!!
ive been searching everywhere for the off vocal version of this and i've seen hikaru link me to your channel so i was wondering if you can link me to the off vocal version ;v;
(of course i will credit)
All of mafumafu's off vocals are posted on his piapro. (http://piapro.jp/uni_mafumafu) ;;; when looking for instrumentals, always look at the original upload. They'll have something like カラオケ or variations of that in the description along with a link. If it isn't mentioned there, just hop off to their piapro and it should be there. Still can't find it? Google up the original Japanese title off vocal.
What is the longest you've ever gone without any sleep?
3 days with no sleep. I literally blacked out on the 3rd day on my flight back home for the holidays.
If you had to eat only three things for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Burgers, Sushi, and Noodles
what are ur thoughts on fans tryna be friends w/ people in the youtaite community? do people find it creepy ;w; idk because most youtaites seem v snobby u v u
When I first joined the community, I looked up to a lot of people, and I ended up being good friends with them as time passed on, so there's definitely nothing creepy about it! While I don't think there's anything wrong with fans being friends with people in the youtaite community, I feel like you need to approach this as any social situation.Online friendships are built upon the same foundation as offline ones. That means that the expectations should be the same as if you were in a school trying to get to know people. Constantly barraging people with questions, or asking/hoping for attention rarely leads to a meaningful friendship, can not only end up with you seeming creepy or annoying, but can also make the people you're trying to befriend seem like snobs to you. :c Don't forget that youtaites are still people on the other side of the screen. We're not magical unicorns or anything. Just average people who sing Japanese online karaoke. ;]
Do you have any suggestions for good, easy to follow, beginner mixing tutorials? I've been trying to get into mixing since i don't want to bother my friends (i wouldn't say were close enough for me to ask favors ) Thanks :)
It's really hard to point to anything in particular since there's so much to mixing, and most tutorials out there don't really teach the particular skillsets that are used in the community. This includes timing or EQing vocals to account for microphone and different recording conditions. However, for the major skills required in a mix, I feel that this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyZL6nSffkk) video is a fairly good rundown on the basics of mixing vocals. Don't worry too much about the plugins he's using, but more about how he uses the tools. The guy probably will throw around some terms that might confuse you a bit. Just pause the video, and look them up. Unfortunately, there isn't really such thing as an exact step by step tutorial on how to mix due to the fact that each mix is a unique case with different things that need to be done to arrive at a final product. It's really just about getting experience, and just learning from the feedback you get on your mixes. That said, I'm considering at least doing a very basic solo mix tutorial in the near future. If you have any questions, you can always hop onto the youtaite discord chat! We have a nice little mixer chat where more experienced mixers pop in to answer questions.
I try. I maso. Then I stop sleeping, and then somehow I come out having learned a ton of shit. A+ A+
How did u come up with ur username?
Honestly it's tied into my love of food XD. I chose the online handle Mochi when I was like 13-14 on Gaiaonline due to my love of Mochi ice cream. Since it's always taken as a username, crunchimochi actually comes from the time I had ramen and they put in toasted plain mochi as a topping! Toasted Mochi is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I stylized it into crunchimochi.
You may disagree but making fun of people is still hurtful, even if it's not a "bashfest." I'm not affiliated but would just like to give you some insight if possible on why some people aren't okay with a lot of the behavior on twitter today. Please consider that. Thanks!
Holy hell this is going to be long. Bear with me? I mean. Make the Youtaite community better 2k16. Though in all seriousness, when people decide to make some public statement and lay their opinions out there for people to see, and they really open themselves up to being criticized. Furthermore, they went as far as to put down a community in order to elevate their new group, which is what I feel a lot of the people on twitter responded to, along with the irony of their actions. The issue itself is really complex, but I feel that people were NEVER calling people out by name in this exchange.HOWEVER, I do agree that some people took things too far with some of the joking statements and turned it into opinions with some malicious intent. THAT SAID, please remember that I personally have issue with the ideal and the whole way it was executed, rather than the people involved behind it. I posted a screenshot with a comment, and the original post was posted in a facebook group with over 1000 users. Yes, I made some joking comments because honestly, I've never understood that fierce need lately for people to use the labels to describe themselves in this community. The whole "youtaite" label didn't even exist when I first starting weeb online singing. Honestly speaking, utaite wasn't even a term either! We're just a bunch of people singing asian songs online who happen to be uploading it on YT for the most part. There's a lot more to say about this but honestly, it's not really worth delving into as an ask answer. If you want to talk to me about it, you're more than welcome to DM me directly about it. I have no issues with talking about this, and my DMs are open. (o u o)bAnd no, I don't regret posting what I did on twitter. I'm behind everything I've said.
Mmmmmm... Laughs it's been awhile so I can't think of anybody off the top of my head. Loretta Cristiano from Gangsta, I wish I was more like Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, mmmm maybe Chiaki from Mouretsu Pirates.
Where do you work
I'm a master's student in a university near Paris.
I played classical piano for about 13-14 years before quitting due to me being unable to balance min 2 hours of practice a day with 5 hours + of HW everyday. Beyond that, I can play twinkle twinkle little start on a cello and sorta plunk some grooves but not really on a bass. Maybe I sing. AKA not really LOL my goal is to get better at playing instruments overall.
