What have you been doing since As ended?

been mostly busy with selling mi soul 2 my internship.... it basically takes ALL all of my time lol but after work/weekends i’ve been hanging out and catching up with the people i love, and did abit of travelling in december, jan & march HAHAHA and it’s pretty much the same now!! just spending all the time i can with myself and those i love, and growing myself!!! excited & trying to embrace this strange liminality & transition phase.. and sups excited for all that is to come!!

Has anyone enter a poly course using A levels instead of Os? Can you share your experience please.

this is so late LOL but!!! i was extremely nervous as i always am before such big things HAHAHA but all turned out well!!!! so praise God for that hehe :-)

what kind of things? but of course not! this happens so frequently, but it doesn't make you a bad friend for sure. while people/friends are so fundamentally similar, we are very different too!! i struggled with this for awhile but eventually just know that you are entitled to feel whatever you do and you don't have to feel bad about feeling the way you do!! be genuine with your friends & tell them how you rlly feel if you have to :-)

Hahah idk if I like lit or not actually..it's like I don't like o level lit because its so obscure ..all the themes and stuff but I do like doing unseen poetry Cuz can zoom in into each word..like that's the only thing I like about lit haha ..should I still consider lit if that's the case?

if o level lit was obscure for you then idk how you'll feel about h2 lit HAHAHA but im not very good at explaining the subject so i may not be the best person to ask you should probably consult the lit teachers in your school before choosing it!! :~( about zooming into each word, im assuming you mean close reading?? HAHAHA SORRY idk but you'll do loads of that in lit in JC so dw!! but if you enjoy reading & studying texts and writers' craft and all that (its really a lot more than what i'm summarising it to be) then still consider it i guess!!

Hello!yeah tbh I feel that the open house Didnt Rly live up to my expectations haha ..but Is there a distance between VCA ppl and us ?

HAHAH its ok!!! i wasn't really particularly impressed with the open house during my year either but my time here has really shown me otherwise so you can take my word for it!!! hehe and well i guess it depends on your batch yah in my cohort there's not really a distance per se but i guess i felt q left out initially because i really wished i had my tk friends with me too HAHAHA but really the VCA people i've met are all super friendly n nice and at least for the VCA people in my class they aren't exclusive at all!!! SO WE ALL MINGLE JINGLE RLY WELLLLLL no distance at all but on a whole its like we r just one big batch (most of the time)!!

any advice if the guy i like likes somebody else? rly thought we had a chance bcos we are both christians and same values and all. and we are rly close friends. what should i do? should i still text him everyday and all

AHHH im not very good at this :-( if you guys are really close friends then i guess its okay if you still want to text him and all!!! honestly everything is a learning experience so just do whatever you want and roll with it (honestly this is SUCH TERRIBLE ADVICE but this has helped me HAHAHA) but the more rational side of me would like to tell you not to worry because ahhh i'm certain someone better will come along, and it'll be worth it!! so don't brood over this too much, time makes everything better. just learn & grow with it, whatever you choose to do :-) sending you love!! x

Hello! Can u tell me more about h2 lit in JC?like what are the challenges of it and is it really very different from o level lit?:)

HELLO!!!! h2 lit in JC is quite frankly my favorite subject even though its not the easiest to study for. if you like lit i think you'll enjoy studying it AHHH i really enjoy my lit lessons and studying all my texts like ah its hard to explain you just gain this deeper appreciation and understanding of things you otherwise wouldn't have been able to pick up by yourself?? and during lessons sometimes you'll just be like "holy shit" HAHAHA and i think thats the most wonderful thing for me as to why h2 lit appeals to me HAHA does that make sense?? HAHAHA challenges would be writing 3 good essays in 3 hours (LOL) and just studying for it sometimes.. its kinda all over the place? but its not impossible! so don't let it stop you. afterall, interest is truly the most important thing when you are selecting your subjects!! (i promise) its not VERRRRRY different from o level lit but it requires a lot more intuition, sensitivity, and interest if you are planning to take it. you can't really vomit out points that are spoon fed to you like in olevels and expect to do well its a lot of thinking and personal judgement (?) in the different proses/poems/texts you have to study but ok tldr; TAKE H2 LIT!!!!! but only if you really like lit. you'll enjoy it!!! (at least i hope you do) :-) hope this helped!

very vibrant & dynamic! its great here rlly if you didn't feel it during the open house AND YOURE POSTED HERE dont worry you'll love it here! (at least i do, like it very much) its hard to explain really you just have to experience it for yourself :-) the people here (at least most of those i've crossed paths with) are really friendly & i love them loads!! your experience will largely be determined by who you meet & how you make the best out of your time here so its hard to explain rlly but its a healthy culture that drives me to stretch myself and grow and do my best!! see ya if you're coming here! hehe
