Hi just wondering about the price range of the clothing at Sydney fashion weekend? x

it depends on the brand, but it can be anything between $10-$800.

do you still do blog designig for other people

unfortunately I am not able to do any blog makeovers at the moment because I am in the middle of the HSC, but in the future (maybe the Christmas holidays?) I would love too. just send me an email for more info x

It was already private but I was asking if you could make it public, haha. I guess not!

ahh so sorry that was a typo, I meant to write public! I've just set it to public now, thanks so much for letting me know xx

Would you ever make your Goodreads public?

I thought I had it on private already, so I'll have to go and fix that up :) thanks! xx

Ever watch Pretty Little Liars?

yes! I used to be obsessed but I don't watch it anymore, it just dragged on for so long and I got sick of it haha. I'll probably pick it back up one day when I've got some spare time!

How do deal with people fron tour shool who know about your blog? Cause I wanna blg more but Im scared people from school might find out...

Well I started at a new school last year and didn't tell everyone at first, but they eventually all found out - everyone was so supportive and genuinely interested in my blog! I've never had any 'hate' at school for it and I'm super lucky and thankful. If anyone teases you for blogging, then they mustn't be a true friend. if you do get bullied for blogging or anything serious happens, make sure to tell someone about it :)

Whats hsc emily sorry

haha no that's ok! just a bit confused :P HSC stands for High School Certificate - you take exams in your final year of school to get a HSC (you can then take your HSC to apply to different colleges/universities). I hope this makes sense!! x

Can you describe your style in five words?

Can't Make Up My Mind! (that's my 5 words, and how I constantly feel about my fashion style haha)

Australian stores can be a lot better than U.S. I live in some stupid middle-of-nowhere state (so not California or New York) so there are only basic brands like Forever 21 or H&M. There are barely any cute boutiques or fashion events (like the one you went with your mom).

aw that sucks! I know how you feel though, because I live a long way away from the city and only have access to the 'basic' stores too. so it's always exciting to go to the city haha! x

Hi emily, I really like your blog - I like australian blogs (I'm australian too) because the clothes are all available here! A lot of popular blogs are by british or american people and some brands they wear aren't even in australia

I know what you mean - it can sometimes be a bit frustrating trying to find alternatives over here, because shipping is so expensive! thankyou so much :) xx

I read your exercise routine post and I loved it! I was wondering if you needed to be flexible to start doing jazz or tap dancing? I havnt danced since I was 6 and was wondering if you think it would be hard for me to start at 14? Thanks in advance and I love your blog SO much

hey! that's so exciting you want to start dance, it's so fun. I think you should definitely give it a go, even if you're not very flexible there is still lots to do, and you will improve over time. I am still very, very unflexible (??) compared to everyone else in my class - I can't even do the splits yet! I've missed out on a few things because of it but it's still so much fun, you definitely don't 'need' it. and you don't need very much flexibility for tap at all, that's why I love it haha! all the best xx

Hi! Your description of the way the HSC is run is way different to mine, so you'll be graduating in 2016? What do you want to do when you're older?

Yeah, my school does it a bit differently. I personally find it a lot less stressful because you only have to sit 3 exams at a time, instead of 6. And yes, I'll be graduating in 2016 (the year I turn 18). I'm not too sure yet! I'm thinking either styling, journalism or photography.

Hi Emily, I was wondering if you are doing any back to school posts soon. I would really like it if you did that.

yes I am! I have a video planned and some DIY stationary. let me know if you have any ideas or anything else you'd like to see x

Hey Emily! Hope you are well! I have loved your recent blog posts sooooo much I was wandering if maybe you could do a post on exercising during holidays and school, as to how to squeeze in a workout here and there and what types of workouts you can do :) thanks so much ❤️

aw thankyou so much for the lovely words + suggestion! it's such a great idea, I've just posted one now! thanks again gorgeous, hope you enjoy it :) - http://emilyjane.typepad.com/my-blog/2015/01/my-exercise-routine.html

What music do you listen to? And are you doing your HSC this year, or year 11?

At the moment I am loving + solely listening to 1989 by Taylor Swift, haha :)
I am doing my HSC over 2 years. I hope I can explain this well, as it is a bit confusing. So we have 6 subjects for our HSC, but it is split up into 2 groups of 3. So, for 1 year I complete the prelim + HSC exams for 3 subjects, and then the next year I do the prelims + HSC exams for the next three. So it goes Year 11 work, Year 12 work (1st Year), and then Year 11 work, Year 12 work (second year). Let me know if that made any sense! If not I'll try to explain it again. xx

What have you done so far on the holidays? love your blog

aw thank-you! I have been on a picnic with my friend, been to Wicked the Musical (amazing!!), celebrated my friends birthday with her, been swimming, reading, re-organising my bedroom, started a beginners fitness planner on Blogilates, practicing my photography aaand.... holiday homework :( i have been having so much fun though and am just really enjoying the quiet and laziness of holidays. i hope you had a happy new year! x

Any good books you have read lately? I need to get my hands on some new reading material!!!

I have been so so busy lately I have barely had any time for reading :( BUT just this week I read Girl Online by Zoe Sugg and it was amazing!! I had heard so much negativity in the media about it but it was honestly such an amazing read, I couldn't put it down. I am hoping to start The Hunger Games trilogy tonight (I am very, very late on this one - haha!). I also love any books by John Green, he is one of my favourite authors. If you're not into these kind of books you could always try some older classics such as The Great Gatsby, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Alice in Wonderland, Pride and Prejudice and so much more. Happy reading!!

Do you have any advice for picking your year 11 and 12 subjects? Btw I love your blog :) good luck with year 11!

thank you so much!! I think just go for the things that interest you and will contribute to your future career. at my school there are barely any choices so that's why I found it very easy to choose. you also need to take the ATAR scaling into consideration - if you are not that confident in something and it scales down badly I wouldn't go with it (just my opinion) whereas if you choose something you're confident in you will get a better mark and hopefully it will scale better. make sure you think about it a lot to decide on your final choice. all the best!! I'm sure you'll do great xx

What HSC subjects are you studying in year 11 and 12?

I'm studying Photography, Legal Studies, General Maths, Advanced English, Ancient History, Business Studies and Biology :)
