Yeah...and wtf's happened to ask.fm? o_O Latest update is horrid
What color socks are you wearing right now? PAP!
No sockies
did spring.me shut down???
It redirects to some website called Twoo that looks like a dating website. I don't know if any of our content is retained there or anything; I don't want to join up to find out. For all intents and purposes I guess it's shut down!
I miss you tooooooo! Does anyone still use this fing? I wanna do it again.
Why are you so freaking cool?! I want to BE YOU!!!!
Oh, this doesn't sound half sarcastic! Haha
Are you a nOOb?
At what? I'm going to go with nope, though. Not a noob.
would you ever eat a bug?
No, probably not. Definitely not if it was live. I might if it was part of some kind of weird gourmet meal and it was unrecognizable within the dish.
emma im being 100% serious and forgive me if this is offensive to ask but Is homosexuality dangerous to society? 2% of U.S. population is gay yet it accounts for 61% of HIV infection and homosexuals are about 50% more likely to suffer from depression and engage in substance abuse according 2 the cdc
The part about homosexuals being more likely to suffer depression and engage in substance abuse sounds to me more like society being a danger to homosexual people, not them being a danger to society. Any minority group which is regularly the subject of prejudice and discrimination is bound to find itself rife with depression, that's just a logical consequence of what happens when someone is denied rights and made to feel inferior or abnormal. As for homosexuals being a danger to society due to the statistics on HIV, well, I would suggest to you that unprotected sex is the danger to society, not homosexuality. If you practice safe and responsible sex, you have absolutely no reason to feel endangered by homosexuals. If you don't practice safe sex, well, you're the one endangering yourself.
Random question but u are such an inspiring mother! My husband & I are looking to live simple(r) & spend less money by downsizing our house. Do u think we can raise a baby in a studio (1 room)? At least until a certain age? The condo is on the beach with a pool and much outdoor things to do. Thanks!
That's so nice of you, to say that you think I'm inspiring! Best compliment ever, seriously. It's great to be told you're doing a good job as a mum.I think it'd be really tough to raise a baby in a single-room studio. Maybe for the first 6-8 months you could make it work, but once baby starts cruising around the furniture and learning to walk, I think you'd begin to struggle with it. As well as the difficulty of having a baby moving about in such a small space, you'd probably find things getting pretty cluttered! Things like exersaucers, bouncers, toys and play gyms can all take up a lot of space. You could also run into sleep issues fairly early on; some babies stir at the slightest of sounds, so a small space could make life frustrating in terms of sleep.Plus, when it comes to starting a family, you'll simply just want some room to breathe. A space of your own, somewhere in the house you can go just to take 5. You could find yourself butting heads with your partner and feeling suffocated; sleep-deprivation can really impact on your emotions and when you can't really get away from each other, you might struggle. I remember when Blake had colic and just screamed non-stop night after night, Daniel would take over when he could see I was feeling exhausted and I'd go into a different room just to relax and get some peace. In a studio, you can't really get away - you could go outside, but that's not convenient at all hours of the night and day.Personally, I'd only consider it as a very temporary thing and only if absolutely necessary. I'd worry that in your attempt to simplify your life, you'd only end up cluttering it and making yourself feel even more swamped. Babies need a LOT of stuff, right from the beginning, and you might end up feeling like your whole home is a nursery! Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
Be immersed in it; live in a small area where the majority of the population speaks the language you want to learn.
don't care that you are deleting my questions on here and formspring i know you read them and im just gonna keep sending them anyway blocking wont work either ive created well over 10 accounts on here and formspring so your just gonna have to face the facts.
Do you need an account, though? I thought I have both my Formspring and Ask set to allow anonymous questions. Do you need an account to ask anonymously, now? That's annoying. In any case, I don't even know what you're bumping your gums about!
What's your favorite castle?
I don't have a favourite one of those. But heeeeey! We have an app now!
My love interest adores butts...which is cool I suppose...except I think i have a hairy butt and am too shy to get down with him if ya know what I mean. Can you make me feel more confident about dropping m'pants without telling me to mow my ass lawn?
Why don't ya wanna mow it? Some hair removal cream safe for intimate areas, or some wax strips or even a razor would do the job pretty easily! I mean, if you don't like having a hairy butt, then there's no reason to keep one, eh? Being realistic though, I think most people have a bit of hair there. I do, when I don't remove it! I don't really think most guys would be put-off by it, because it really is only natural. Unless there's something crazily unusual about it, like you had inch-long black hair sticking out of your crack, then he probably wouldn't even think anything of it. If it makes you feel self-conscious or you don't like the look of it, then look into methods of removal.Try it with the lights off if you're shy about your bod!
So do you think this website has potential to be like Formspring? What changes could be made to this website?
I hope so. I think it has more potential than youreply. - It needs an iPhone app. Desperately. PLEASE. PLEEEEEASE. If only there were an iPhone app I could use this site just as easily as Formspring.- Clean up that damn home feed. I still don't really understand how it works. I JUST want to see answers from people I'm following, but I seem to have a bit of everything in there. If they could just put a little line in there like "[username] liked 4 answers" and have a LINK to them rather than displaying them all, it would be a lot more readable. - Ability to send out questions to all followers.
This is probably getting old now because I say it all the time, but I'm so proud of Daniel. There have been days where he has been the only one who could convince a suicidal teen to see the mental health nurse...the only one to convince someone to eat for the first time in days...the only person to discover that someone who has previously played mute can actually speak fluent English...I'm just so proud of his natural ability to create a rapport with people and do well in his jobs.I envied it when I first met him! I still do. He's just so confident, I don't think he's ever been intimidated or shy around someone. Oh except for when he met my parents...hahahaha he said my mum scared the shit out of him.
This is probably weird, but today I learned all about Operation Neptune Spear, or the death of Osama bin Laden. No idea how I came to be on that page on Wikipedia earlier but...oh wait, yeah I do know! Was on Facebook. Saw a joke image on a Pokemon page I liked that showed a couple of America's Most Wanted (and Zekrom as #1). Out of interest, Googled to read about America's most wanted, then America's most wanted terrorists, one of whom was bin Laden. Then I started reading all about him.
I did, yeah. I was pretty much* a straight-A student in high school student and never received anything less than a credit at university. * I did get Cs and Ns (Ns are fails without the harsh cruelty of a big red F for FLOP FLUNKING FAILURE) in Phys Ed, Math and Home Ec. I never participated in Phys Ed. Always forgot my gym clothes. It was a confidence issue really; we had mixed PE classes and I just felt self-conscious about my developing body, getting changed in front of friends and sweating and my new boobs bouncing when I ran. The teacher tried to make me take a sports uniform from the lost property once since I'd "forgotten" my own. I was like.................No.Home Ec, honestly, I don't know why I was so bad at it. I love to cook and bake now, I love being a housewife. But if you'd told me when I was 14 that I'd be a housewife in my 20s, I would have face-palmed big-time. I HATED cooking and even more I hated having to eat food that had been prepared in a gross communal kitchen with ingredients from the school pantry. I didn't know how often they cleaned their shit or disposed of expired stuff, it made me paranoid. And I couldn't sew and I felt intimidated by all of the other girls who loved to sew and made amazing things...I just sucked. I switched to woodwork in year 9 when it became an elective and you could do it instead of Home Ec.Math...I was doing OK until I fell behind just because I thought I could. In every other class like English and Psych and Soc, I could work on my own agenda. I could screw around and be the class clown and catch up super easily when I felt like it. Well, I tried pulling that in math and then nek minit...algebra. I was like, wait what, I haven't even learned long division yet! I failed everything in math from that point on and didn't catch up until I took statistics for psych at University level and had to take extra tuition. When I really try, I pick up math pretty easily and even came to genuinely enjoy calculating standard deviations. But it's not a subject that I have a natural ability in.Are my answers tonight too verbose!?
If you could get your own house with 1 friend, who would you pick?
My husband? If I can't choose him, then no one. Honestly I'd rather live alone than with a friend. Although I might possibly be able to live with my friend Louise, we're both open and honest and value our personal space. There would be a good mutual understanding on the need to pull our weight around the house, because we've both lived with people before who haven't so we know how much it sucks.
Oops, I don't think my previous Q went through so I'll try again (sorry if you get multiples)... If you were stuck with only one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Ugh, so tough! I hate to be unimaginative but I think I'll go with a little black dress. Ugh but then how would I exercise or run...erm...maybe one of my W&DB Dita cardigans with black capris, then. I love those damn cardigans.
What's it like living in Tasmania?
It's quite nice, really. It's an island state so you're never far from beautiful beaches and challenging, breathtaking hikes. Hobart is also quite a nice city if you scratch beneath the surface; there is definitely a vibrant arts community here and the food - if you seek out the right cafes and restaurants - is bloody fantastic. The nightlife is also enjoyable enough for me. We don't get big music festivals or concerts here, but that's not my scene anyway. I love clubbing and the club scene here, whilst comparatively small (just how I like it), is definitely a lot of fun. It's very easy to get to know a regular clubbing crowd and always see a familiar face - I could go to a club alone and know that I would meet up with at least one friend there without prior planning. The nature here is really something else. My favourite places in Tasmania are Freycinet, Coles Bay, hell - the whole East coast. I love the Tasman Peninsula, Devils' Kitchen and that whole coastline is breathtaking. Salamanca and MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art (described as a subversive adult Disneyland) are popular tourist attractions that I visit regularly, despite being a local. I still freakin' love it. LOVE it.But there are drawbacks to Tasmania and to me they're quite significant ones. This isn't an ideal place for a young family. The job market here is slim, the education system here is f'ed (up until recently, grade 10 was the end of most people's education as high schools are only 7-10 - if you wanted to do years 11 and 12 you had to enrol in a "college"). And only one university. The weather is too cool for my liking - we often have grey, overcast days which I find dreary. I prefer weather over 25C, I love heat. The people...they can be backward and sheltered. Lots of bogans (I would know, I grew up being one of them). Most people here just...I don't know how to describe it...they're just...fuckin' basic. No one aims high here, Tasmania is all about the simple life. So, yeah. It has its good points and bad points. But my family has long, deep roots here (*gigglesnort* that's what she said) and I really don't see myself moving until my folks pass on, which is quite a way away...but I do see us moving one day.
Yes, to a certain degree. I'm not into fashion design and I don't stay up-to-date with the latest runway trends, but I do pay some attention to seasonal fashion and I very much enjoy (read: LOVE) shopping and cultivating my own personal style. I love clothes, but as a consumer, not a guru.
City or countryside? What do you prefer?
I don't like big, congested cities and I wouldn't like living in a landlocked state or country - I like to be near a coastline. I really love to be able to swim in the sea and go hiking, but I also really enjoy many aspects of cities like shopping, eating out and the nightlife. I think that's why Australia will always be my home; most of the population lives around the coasts and many cities are just a stone's throw away from national parks and beaches.
Would you use an enema if you were going ass to mouth, or if Daniel was going to use his mouth on your ass?
That's a great article, but unfortunately I can't take credit for it! My uncle has a pen name though; our family all had a little snigger about it - he writes Mills & Boon books, haha.
What is your routine before a sexy night in? I need advice.
Oooh fun question! If it's a particularly special sexy night in, I'll go shopping and have fun buying some nice lingerie and maybe an outfit for the date if we're going out for dinner or something. I love shopping and nothing feels "sexier" than wearing something brand new and pretty. I'll shower (obviously), shave my body (some people prefer to wax but I don't have any issues like shaving rash so shaving is fine for me...I use hair removal creams on softer hair like my arms and toes YES MY TOES DON'T JUDGE ME). I'll also use Femfresh intimate wash if I'm anticipating sex. Opinions on intimate washes are divided; some people say it upsets the PH levels and natural vaginal flora. But the Femfresh brand is apparently endorsed by gynocologists and for me personally it works just fine. I'll soak, trim, file and paint my fingernails and toenails. Moisturizer my whole body (Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is beautiful, I also like Lush Sympathy for the Skin and Bio-Oil as I have sensitive skin).I'll style my hair. I usually leave it down and wave or curl it if I'm having a sexy night; I think most men tend to prefer women with their hair down and out. And if I REALLY want to go all out, I'll make sure my sex toys have been cleaned and equipped with working batteries and they're all close at hand. Clean fresh sheets are also always good and sometimes I'll light some scented candles for the aromatherapy benefits - ylang ylang, jasmine, cinnamon all have aphrodisiac properties!I think that's about it. Um, this is may be TMI but since we're on the subject, some people prepare with an enema if they're planning to have anal sex. It's not necessary but it makes some people feel more confident and less concerned about any potential mess. However, since poop is stored in the colon and not in the rectum until you need to go, as long as you've uh...emptied your colon and you're not needing to poop at the time, you'll be fine. Sorry, that's gross but hey, some girls wonder about that! I don't worry about it personally as I hate receiving anal.
