oh LOL well technically my best friend's mom bought it but i'm no longer friends with this friend so its a bit irrelevant

If you don't do portraits for the money then why did your raise your prices? Just curious because I follow your work.

Because $45 was not nearly enough to cover travel, shooting, and editing. And $60 is still on the low end, in my opinion .

But don't you need media pass when photographing at horse shows? Sorry just curious

No, you need a media pass to sell photos, not take them. And it varies from venue to venue, it depends on the contract that venue has signed with its official photographer

How come you hardly every do portrait sessions? Is there to much competition for portrait sessions in your area? Also do you aspire to anyone when doing your portrait session?

I don't do portraits because I don't really advertise for them, and they're not my area of expertise. I'd much rather go to shows than do portraits. Also I'm not driven by money that much, I enjoy taking pictures at shows and if people want to buy them, great! Extra money in my pocket. But it's more for me than anyone else.

Have you ever been cornered by Ben Radvanyi? I know i saw him yelling at Laurel Jarvis this year and I heard he did the same to the AB Photography girl. just wondering if you have felt his wrath

yeah my parents are leaving me the house while they go to quebec for that weekend so ill probably just spend chill in my pajamas and marathon game of thrones when I'm not at work or at palgrave

what days do you work?

usually like monday-thursday 9-2pm at my one job, and I just started another part-time job, and that ones pretty random, so far I've been working 2-4 shifts a week, from 3-6 hours each shifts.

what are all the lenses you have

Usually i use my 55-300mm or my 30-55mm. I have about 3 or 4 others that I don't really use (although I probably should)

what camera do you use and what lence ? I really wanna start with photography, but my dad lives far away and he got a pretty good cam but I'd like to own my own one to start photography :D

I have nikon d7000 and i have several lenses but I usually use my 55-300mm at shows. Try looking on ebay for cameras, you can usually get them for a lot cheaper than retail :)
