Why is the sky blue?

To be technical, the sky is blue because of the way our atmosphere refracts light from the sun, which creates wavelengths of light that are blue in color. It is the same refraction of light through our atmosphere that causes red hues during sunsets.

aw man what /would/ i name my first child?!?! i feel like the possibilities are endless like how rad would it be to be called felipe or like roger? samantha has been a girl's name i've been liking lately because i just adore the nickname 'sam' it's just so cute.
