im having a stressful time right now i'm 17 years old and im just really finding it hard dealing with being a teenager do you have any advice?

If you’re in high school, everything gets a lot more tolerable when you leave high school. And everything gets infinitely better after that when you move out of your parents’ house. For some reason, in high school, everybody is a jerk. Your parents are jerks, your friends are jerks, and you aren’t too sure if you even like yourself most of the time. School sucks, math is boring, your boobs aren’t big enough, whatever.
All the people you know in high school, you will probably never talk to again once you hit university. So if you can, just devote yourself to your interests. Develop them. Read, research, learn. Teach yourself, take classes, do what you want to do. Figure out what you like. What do you like about yourself, what do you like about other people? Who do you want to be?
I’ll never pretend to have all of the answers - I'm still growing. We all are. One thing that’s worked pretty well for me has been to constantly reinvent myself. We are all creative beings, and everything we do and wear and think says something about ourselves and who we are. All that external stuff matters, sure, but not nearly as much as we’d all like to think it does.
Always make yourself uncomfortable. If you’re shy, make it your goal to pipe up a bit in class, or strike up a conversation with someone new once a week. If you don’t like your body, do something to change it, or change the way you think about it. Wear different clothes. Confidence is everything, and often times a depressed, shy girl can be transformed instantly into a confident, radiant girl just because of what she’s wearing. Clothes and hairstyles and makeup (or no makeup, natural hair, and casual clothing - whatever floats your boat) are catalysts that give us permission to be ourselves.
Sorry about the long paragraphs, but I hope this helps :)
