It kinda depends on who I'm talking to. If I'm with people who I know aren't interested in anime or strangers, I try to hide the fact that I'm an anime fan as much as possible, but if someone shows some interest in my nerdy hobbies I'd definitely talk to them a whole lot about anime. For me, my anime fandom is like a penis. I wouldn't pull it out and dangle it around in public, but if someone really wanted to see it I probably wouldn't refuse.
