hello! im an o'level student and im planning to take june o'levels. so, i wanted to take june english, bm and maths. do you think these subjects are important for applying to pte, uni or any college? 😕
hello!! from my knowledge and understanding, taking languages is common but for maths im not so sure. for one, its really good practise for you so that you get an idea of what you're facing at the end of the year.
in terms of entering colleges, if im not mistaken most PTEs and colleges look at your results yang one sitting saja, so say you get 1 O Level in June and 4 in October, you can't add them both to make 5 O's, it has to be 5 O's in one sitting.
However a good thing about taking these in June is that for example you do get higher for a certain subject, they'll look at your higher subject. For me, i got A* during my M/J examination for B.M but a C5 for Oct/Nov, and while applying I was told that the school looks at the A* rather than the C5 so that's another good thing i guess
besides that I'm not really sure of the significance, however if you do decide to take M/J dont forget to bring a copy of your statement of results when applying, because I did that and didn't accept me lmao i hope I answered your qs!!
