"Check sendiri."..thanks for the suggestion? i guess...silly me. i should've gone to the supermarket to search for one rather than asking random peeps on ask.fm. oh wait, i already did that. mun inda tahu atu diam saja brah, smarta*s.

I don't understand what's a shoutout is this for me

Hmmm what type of girls do you like?

I like short girls, funny girls, someone I can easily communicate with, someone who isn't afraid to show me her tears but will also let me comfort her with words. Smart girls but dorky dumb girls. Someone who will appreciate me as much as I'll appreciate her. I like cute girls, in a sense that when I see them I just can't help but smile because i think they're just simply adorable like even when talking to them and the way they tell their weird stories with such enthusiasm and I go like ya Allah cute jua anak ani. Kind girls!! those who are willing to experience something new and to go on adventures w me. Girls with glasses masya Allah, also have a thing for artists, be it singing, drawing, painting or playing any instrument. I find beauty in art, and probably in her as well.
honestly speaking, i could go on and on and on, but when the girl eventually comes, it doesn't matter. If i like her, i like her. That's probably it

What are the differences between MPP & PRR? :)

oh dear, this is a very late answer, especially if you were an MPP applicant trying to decide whether to go for Kem Waja or join PRR buttt here are the most basic differences
- MPP is under Student Affairs, PRR is under Counseling Unit
- MPP wear black ties and gold badges, PRR still wear purple ties but have purple badges as well
- MPP's official Operation Room is in the SLC but we take care of SLC as a whole, PRR's operation room is on the 3rd floor of SIT
- MPP is in charge of all official school events like Admission, Orientation and all school talks and assemblies, PRR usually conduct events based on their own intiative like Appreciation Day or the inter school Futsal Tourney
- to become an MPP, you have to interview and go through Kem Waja, if you endure the camp then you are worthy of being an MPP, that itself acts as a filter, to become a PRR you have to interview and get chosen, there is a leadership retreat but after naik pangkat
soooo those are the main differences between an MPP and PRR

Assalamualaikum Syauqie. Since you are the YDP, i hope u don't mind me asking this qs =D how necessary is it to have leadership experience to join MPP/PRR? I am really interested to join PRR mostly but I don't have experience at school. I never step out of my comfort zone, so now I want to try. TQ!

waalaikumsalam! I'm not sure about PRR, but I think we're both looking for the same people, not just people who are boasting with heaps of leadership experience rather we're looking for people who are willing to learn, be committed and work with others. Having all that leadership experience is just a bonus 👍

how do you overcome stuttering when speaking to others?

i tend to talk to myself a lot so i have lots of practice hahaha but srsly tho even i stutter sometimes i guess the only way to overcome it is to find a way to ease your nerves and actually really think before you speak supaya inda buffering, you pause dulu, let the grey bar load then you play, and lancaaar. the grey bar being your thoughts and the red bar being your words

what was the highlight of your day?

presentation MIBku was the definition of BSing brought flags and gave them to the crowd and told everyone to sing the national anthem to buy time and I answered a question and everyone thought it was legit but cg was like
boi get yo facts rite lmao

some said beware of what happened before(nothing bright), and watch out for certain boys. is it true?

beware of what happened before?

But those are mine, it really depends on the individual, my best things could be another person's worst things. Some things that I consider not so fun are the MIB courses that take your PS, tapi awal2 saja sudah akhir2 ani makin siuk tia lmao and the worst absolute worst thing is the fact that I get fatter but the complete opposite happens to my wallet #BMCLai
but yah i hope this was as long as you hoped, if you or anyone has any other questions i am more than happy to answer them 😄😊

were invited to perform live during Consumer Fair, Karate students won medals during the national competition and the Debate Society won first place nationwide. The CCA in MD is no joke lah, you can really learn new talents and even hone the skills you already have.
Finally, what personally attracted me the most to MD, the Student Leadership programme. There are different types of Student Leaders, there's HEU Cadets, Green Council, Monitors, PRR and MPP. You can ask me again if you want to know more about all this, tapi pokoknya being a student leader gives you a lot lot lot of experience and knowledge, things that can never be taught in a classroom.
A few other things I like about MD is the diversity of students, since students come from all over Brunei, dari Temburong ke Belait, from various schools. Though many argue that MD bepuak-puak, it is true but we can't also deny the fact that its easy for you to get to know others as well, you're not limited to those who are in your class saja, like if you take Bio Maths Chem, you can also have friends who take subjects that are completely diff, either because you guys sama Tutor Group or CCA or are Student Leaders together. You are also free to hangout wherever you want during your PS or lunch, you're not stuck in your class saja, you can go to SLC, SIT, LT or library.
Another thing I like are the vending machines though the white one selalu makan duitku smh oOOooo also BMC LAI, MD has nice affordable food cam restaurant.
Entering MD is currently the best decision I have ever made, this is coming from someone who came there as the only student from Mahad that chose to go to MD, so I was completely alone for most of the time. I have met wonderful people who have changed my life and done things that I thought I would never be able to do, so I guess the best things about MD are the opportunities, experience and the people.

describe MD, what's fun abt it and what's not etc. pls make it a bit long and interesting please!

this was like 6 months ago lmao but I told myself I would answer it once the O Level results are near and I hear that registration for results was opened yesterday sooooo
Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al Muhtadee Billah or more commonly known as Maktab Duli or MD. The history of the school is quite rich, it is Brunei's oldest and dare I say most prestigious Sixth Form Centre, dulu kana panggil PTEG but the name changed in the late 1980s. You can learn more about the history once you come here and go through orientation and watch the videos prepared.
In terms of the campus, there are 2 main places for you to have your classes in, 3 if you take Art for A Levels, the first is the most noticeable, the newly built Science Information and Technology building, SIT for short, that was opened in 2011(?), there you will learn the pure sciences, Bio, Physics and Chem, each having a floor to themselves. At the highest floor you can find the Computer Science and ICT labs. The second building that you may have your classes in is Old Building, OB for short, why its called OB will be very obvious when you take a look around lmao here you will learn everything else from GP to Psych, Maths, Syariah and so forth. If you plan to take Art, you'll have your classes in the Art Bungalows which are quite a walk away from both SIT and OB.
Other facilities MD has includes a Fitness Centre, 2 canteens, a gym, futsal and football field, Auditorium, library, 2 Lecture Theatres andddd a Student Learning Centre or SLC for short. For the juniors that will come in, I will be more than willing to give you a personal tour around the whole school if you think the tour during orientation is insufficient.

okay curriculum out of the way, CCAs now, MD has more than 50 different clubs for you to join including Music Society, Wellbeing, Karate, Silat, Gulintangan etc. These clubs are most of the times very active both inside and outside of school, some MDMS students were invited to perform live during

hello! im an o'level student and im planning to take june o'levels. so, i wanted to take june english, bm and maths. do you think these subjects are important for applying to pte, uni or any college? 😕

hello!! from my knowledge and understanding, taking languages is common but for maths im not so sure. for one, its really good practise for you so that you get an idea of what you're facing at the end of the year.
in terms of entering colleges, if im not mistaken most PTEs and colleges look at your results yang one sitting saja, so say you get 1 O Level in June and 4 in October, you can't add them both to make 5 O's, it has to be 5 O's in one sitting.
However a good thing about taking these in June is that for example you do get higher for a certain subject, they'll look at your higher subject. For me, i got A* during my M/J examination for B.M but a C5 for Oct/Nov, and while applying I was told that the school looks at the A* rather than the C5 so that's another good thing i guess
besides that I'm not really sure of the significance, however if you do decide to take M/J dont forget to bring a copy of your statement of results when applying, because I did that and didn't accept me lmao i hope I answered your qs!!
