What causes sinusitis and how is it treated?

Causes of chronic sinusitis include nasal polyps (growth of tissue that blocks the sinuses and/or nasal passages), a deviated or damaged septum (restricts or blocks the nasal passages), and respiratory infections (can be viral, bacterial or fungal.) Other medical conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux and other immune system related disorders have also been linked to the development of chronic sinusitis. What are the symptoms of appendicitis?

Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever or chills, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea are all symptoms that may be indicative of appendicitis. However, other health problems may also present with similar symptoms. Appendicitis occurs when the appendix, a narrow, tube-shaped organ that is attached to the large intestine on the right side of the lower abdomen, becomes inflamed and causes pain as a result. It typically occurs in individuals who are between the ages of 10 and 40.
