What's your opinion on online dating?

Considering I met my boyfriend online, I don't really have any negative feelings. If you use a dating website, more power to you. If you don't use a dating website and still meet someone online, more power to you. If you meet someone offline, more power to you. More power to you all.

1/10: What is your favorite time of the year? What is it that you like about it?

questionspage22’s Profile PhotoSpam Account
Autumn. I love how beautiful it is and I love that the weather starts to get chilly, because summers here are VICIOUS and I despise the heat.

Your spouse is in their 20s. They tell you they don't want to ever be resuscitated. They feel it will cause some curse. They have an accident and need resuscitation. They will die without it. Doctors ask you what to do. What do you say? Honor the wishes or let them live?

This is a crazy tough question, Grace! I haven't ever really had to think about this seriously, thank god, but I'm not sure what I would do. I would want to honor their wishes because it's their wishes and I would hate to have my spouse ignore what I want in favor of what they want. However, if they truly 100% believed in that curse happening, I would consider following through with their wish. With that being said though, if the doctor says there is no chance of them having brain damage or or any other type of life changing/threatening issue, I would also seriously consider resuscitated. It's something I would seriously have to consider and honestly I don't think I'd be able to answer this fully in all honesty unless I was actually in the situation. I think I would take it to my friends and my spouse/my family and see what they all have to say with all aspects considered.

Do you think that Internet/online safety should be highlighted more in schools? What did you learn about being safe online when you were at school? Would you say you're safe online as an adult or do you give our personal information without thinking?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
I think that could be a good idea. However, I think it's the parents' job to teach their kid(s) safety. A school should focus more so on education and academia, not internet safety. I didn't really learn too much about internet safety when I was in school and I think that's because, like I had said before, the school was more focused on school related things. If schools start focusing on things like safety and other non-academic things we're going to lose even more of the academic quality that our schools already have. I'm generally pretty safe online. I don't post my name or other important things like where I live (generally speaking), the school I go to, my age, etc. on highly anonymous websites like this, especially when I can't control who sees what I post. I don't give my phone number either. I was taught to be very careful online what with catfish and predators (so of course, go figure, I meet my boyfriend online) so I'm very open, in a sense, without giving away too much-- especially if it's got anything particularly identifying about myself.

How does it feel like to be rejected, leave the very thought of rejection, come up in your life and then to stand in front of the person who rejected you in the very first place,

I wouldn't know as I've never really experienced this.

Has something ever happened to you or someone you know, which has made you think "why, why does shit things happen to good people" - my mothers work college and friend just had her two year old daughter pass away suddenly whilst on holiday in Florida. Life is fucked up and unfair!

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
This happens all the time. My mom had a couple of friends (who, let's be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of but they were really nice people nonetheless) and they randomly got into a bad car accident a few days before (?) Christmas 2 years ago I think?? One of them died on impact, the other died on like New Years Eve or something like that. She woke up from her coma just long enough to learn that her friend didn't make it and then she died a few days later. It was awful and totally shocking. I've had other examples as well but off the top of my head that's all I can think of. I just know this happens way too often. I'm sorry about your mother's friend though, my absolute deepest condolences to her and her family!

15 years of hard labor... could you handle it?

I mean I know what hard labor means.. But like what kind of hard labor and what's the pay? OR does my 15 years of hard labor mean I can retire after only 15 years? Because that would be pretty freaking rad if I could retire after only 15 years.

9. When do you feel as if safety is more important than education?

jenniferrr16’s Profile Photojennifer.✌
I'm not entirely sure I ever feel that way to be completely honest, mostly because I think education is at least part of what can help lead to safety. I'm not really sure under which circumstances this would even apply, I'm so sorry I don't really know how to answer your question :$

7/10: What motivates you in life?

questionspage22’s Profile PhotoSpam Account
The future, actually. I'm motivated by what I can be and what I can have or can do. I'm also motivated by myself and other people, in a way, because I look at us all and I see what I don't want to become.

3. Do you have a favorite author or authors? If so what do you think makes you like them so much?

aclockworkbananna’s Profile PhotoCaptain Obvious
I don't really have a favorite anything if there's more than like 10 options to choose from because I won the award for indecisiveness so. I more so have favorite books (although there's still a metric shit ton of favorites in that category too), but a few authors I've really enjoyed thus far include J.K. Rowling and Dean Koontz off the top of my head. I'm not one of those people that's weirdly attached to particular authors so I don't HAVE to have all the books from specific authors but if a book sounds good I'll go for it, regardless of the author. Those are two authors that just stand out because a) Harry Potter is and always will be one of my absolute favorite book series and b) Dean Koontz is one of the only authors that has produced a ton of books that I've read more than one of (besides authors with series that I love). I love Rowling's writing style. She's very convenient for people of all ages and that's something that I really like about her because her books are so "age friendly", if so you will, without losing any of the quality. I'm not sure why I like Dean Koontz, mostly because I haven't read anything from him in some time now, but I like the types of stories he tends to go for and his writing style isn't bad so it's kind of a great combination for someone like myself I guess.

This video is like my favorite thing on the internet right now. Everyone needs a good laugh at this family's pure willingness to make complete and utter fools of themselves. Joe Sanatagato is basically my favorite person ever. I wish I had that emoji that's crying from laughing so hard on my computer right now :p

I don't really have any specific reasons for each individual on here, but as a whole I feel like everyone on this list either has something about their personality that I feel would mesh well with mine, and/or has a brain that I'd really like to dig into. The chances of my meeting anyone on this list are pretty small anyhow though, so if the feeling isn't mutual there's no harm done ;p

5. Do you believe in writing as an art form? What about comic books, where art meets prose? Are there any comic books or graphic novels you like to read or have read?

aclockworkbananna’s Profile PhotoCaptain Obvious
Oh my gosh. The leftover questions from our Q4Q questions got lost amidst my never ending pile!
I do believe writing is a form of art. It really takes skill to string words together in just the right way-- and much like any other form of art, not everyone likes the same pieces for the same reasons. I don't like comics nearly as much as I like other stories because I feel like it's trying too hard to show through drawings rather than through words and yet the words kind of take away from it. At the same time, I feel like there simply aren't enough words. I won't try to say that comics aren't another art form themselves, but I simply don't see the appeal in them. With that being said, I do really enjoy the Archie comics. I feel like that's the type of story that, were they "regular books", would get way too old way too fast (same with if they were movies or a tv show) but if it was just drawings it wouldn't get the point across well enough. If any of this even makes any sense??? I've read a few comics, although not many aside from Archie because I just can't get into them. Since I'm big fan of TWD I got the first comic for Christmas and read it in like an hour. I didn't like it at all. I feel like I was missing out on a lot of the detail and the action in a way. You just can't get that from a drawing and written sound effects like "kerplunk" or "blam", you know?

Would you rather live in a large house in the suburbs, or a tiny apartment in the city with an excellent view?

I'd rather live in a normal house in the countryside on the outskirts of a city. And by outskirts I mean like 30-60 minutes outside of a city (unless it's a smaller city, in which case like 15-30 minutes outside of it).

If a mother knowingly puts the non-biological fathers name on her child's birth certificate, should she be charged? Why/why not?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
I don't know if I agree that she should be charged, but I think it should have some kind of consequence because the man isn't the child's father. I mean, if the biological dad doesn't want anything to do with the child and the man whose name is being put down is willing to adopt the child (only so long as he's aware the child isn't biologically his), I guess that would be alright? I'm really not sure. I don't know much about this subject to begin with, like what the laws are now and whatnot, so I don't really know what could be some consequences of doing this (both legally and personally).

How quickly do you fall in (and out) of love? What makes you fall for someone?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
I fall for people very quickly, and it's one of the things I hate about myself because it honestly makes my life miserable. Words are the initial thing because there are many boys out there with a very desirable way with words. I tend to fall for people more so because of my own imagination though. In all seriousness, if I get even the smallest whiff of positive attention from a guy who isn't currently seeing someone else (and who I also find at least physically attractive, assuming I don't already have a crush on him), my mind gets carried away and I end up falling for someone who, for all intents and purposes, probably doesn't actually exist. I tend to fall "in love" a hell of a lot faster than I fall "out of love", but to be entirely honest, I can't really say I've fallen in love more than once or twice. I mean, aside from my boyfriend, I've only ever had 3 "long term" crushes and only 2 of them did I ever consider serious enough feelings to see myself going through with had either of the guys ever made a move. For Christ's sake though, I had a (very serious consistent) crush on a family friend's son for at least 7 years and another acquaintance of mine for at least 4 years. A hug from one and the statement that the other was going to take me on a cruise to Hawaii when he'd heard I'd never been on a cruise nor to Hawaii sent me head over heels for both of them. What silly things to fall for too. I completely acknowledge that all of my "reasons" for falling for a person pretty much thus far have been entirely dimwitted but hey, where's the fun in other reasons? :p

Should teenagers around the ages of 16-18 be allowed to work up front on a cash register? Or do you think it increases the risk of them being manipulated by customers? Explain.

jenniferrr16’s Profile Photojennifer.✌
I honesty don't see why this is such a bad idea??? If a person receives the proper training and personally feels like they're capable of doing a job, why should they be limited? Besides, it gives them the experience future jobs look for so it's like a win-win. I'm really not sure how they could be any more easily manipulated than a person of any other age. The ease with which one is manipulated really doesn't have anything to do with the age of the person being manipulated because someone who is 40 can be very easily manipulated so?

Today is Chocolate day, so what's your favourite type of chocolate? Do you eat chocolate often or only now and again as a treat?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Candy, of course. I absolutely adore chocolate based candy and I don't really have a favorite. It really depends on my mood. My other favorite type of chocolate is rocky road ice cream (hey, it's chocolate based ;p). I don't eat chocolate very often actually, now that I think about it. It's definitely more a treat every now and then more than anything else.

* Do you like getting compliments? How do you react on them? What is the best compliment you've ever received? *

I don't think anyone doesn't like receiving compliments. I know I do; I just often find myself getting a bit embarrassed about it depending on the compliment or the people around me/giving the compliment. I'm not sure what the best compliment I've ever received is. I've gotten a lot and I don't really think any of them have been absolutely phenomenal in comparison to the others.

In these words: promise _offer _threaten why do we stress the first syllable instead of the second one although they're verbs?

I wasn't even aware of the fact that the type of word affects the way it's pronounced. Totally didn't know that was another rule of the English language so.. beats me.

If you woke up one morning and found yourself irrevocably in the position of being supreme dictator in your country for life, how would you govern? What laws would you make?

Oh this would be my ideal world for realsies, haha. Assuming I wouldn't be assassinated or something of course. I'd abolish compulsory service/draft laws, pull the military out of other countries, get rid of affirmative action and common core programs, train everyone on how to use firearms properly, make it legal for people to carry firearms (while strengthening the punishment for someone who uses it improperly/without proper reasons), ban GMO foods, eliminate all unnecessary laws, charge a flat tax for everyone (i.e. don't raise the taxes on the rich simply because they make more)-- assuming taxes would still be a necessity, completely revamp the justice system and the immigration system. And that's all just for starters.

In cases such as, children hurting children to the point of death; why do think they get this violent? Was it something they've seen on television, something they've learned from their parents, or were simply born with violent tendency?

BratPrince’s Profile PhotoNᴀʀᴄɪssᴜs
Generally speaking, I think extremely violent individuals were simply born violent. Normal people don't just "turn" so vicious because they saw someone else behave violently. In some cases it could also be that they were born with violent tendencies but actually act on said tendencies only if they see others behave the same way (whether that be peers, family, or people on tv). I don't think there's one specific answer for everyone out there, but those seem to be the two that make the most sense to me. Not everyone who is born with violent tendencies actually grow to act on them in the future, which explain my second option I think.
