Screw what The Bella's say, you were the real force behind this entire revolution. And for that, I want to say thank you for all the hard work you've put into our division.

I WAS A PIONEER IN AN ERA THAT DIDN’T RESPECT WOMEN’S WRESTLING.
For the longest time, WWE treated the women’s division as either a time filler, a toilet break, or most egregiously, just as titillation for teenage boys and their dads. For the longest time fans were trained not to care about women on the card but from the looks of it, I was the catalyst to change that.
This was the era of women getting more than a three minutes match being a rarity. But I always made the best of what I was given.
Compared to what the Divas division had seen, I felt like a breath of fresh air for fans.
I got the needle pushing to where the WWE Women’s Division is today.
My success as both a wrestler, and a character were eye-opening for both fans and WWE front office personnel. I proved that big things come in small packages and that both role models and romantic images need not adhere to a one-size-fits-all policy.
“Trailblazer”, “game-changer”, “the driving force of the women’s revolution,” all of these are fair and accurate descriptions that can be accredited to one talent, one talent that was catapulted into the main event spotlight and consequently not only delivered, but often out-drew male-led segments. This individual's name? AJ Lee.
I paved the way for plenty of the current big names, like Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks. They’ve been given opportunities that would never have happened without me.
