What kind of upbringing causes a person to suppress their emotions?
Sometimes when emotions aren't valued or seen as weakness in a household its hard to easily express them. Its not always physical abuse althk it can be. Neglect of a safe space for emotions is huge! We all have them & we should all be given the freedom to express their range...not just anger and happiness. We're so much more as humans. Be patient with yourself & those you care about.
I've seen them all in actual chronological order of the time frame of the movies. Here are some of my faves. Black Panther was a movement. The 1st Iron Man was memorable. Guardians of the Galaxy was refreshing. Captain America: Winter Soldier gave lots of juicy marvel history. Avengers Infinity War boooyah. Spiderman: Into the Spider verse was dynamic. Let's not forget Thor: Ragnorak dark & powerful!
I break a goal into smaller digestible/ achievable actions. In the past large tasks can loomed like a tall building as I overwhelmed myself piling brick after brick of duties on top of each other. It was necessary to celebrate small wins & hold myself accountable.
What was the last situation where some weird stuff went down and everyone acted like it was normal, and you weren’t sure if you were crazy or everyone around you was crazy?
Someone giving way too much personal information in a group setting.
Do people ever freak out in your area when weird weather happens? It's about to snow here in everyone's buying absolutely all of the groceries off the shelf. Absolutely strange.
Yes yes yes. The lines get ridiculous! And it happens so quickly! Like how much soup, water & snacks can a person buy? Sure its smart if you do not have a generator to have batteries, flashlights, candles & snacks and fresh water. And let's not get started about covid-19 toilet paper.
Why do people think they are always right?
We see life thru our own experiences. It takes wanting a real understanding or connection to see things from other's point of view. The stubbornness some people have in thinking they're always right is annoying to say the least.
I don't think I'm ever completely satisfied. Sorry for answering anon. But I have my reasons.
I hear you. Never being satisfied doesn't make us unable to please. I think it just means we have a thirst for more from life it keeps us moving forward.
are you usually afraid of the dark?
No pitch-black is cool with me!
I remember you. That's enough to remember.
Glad to hear your memory is pretty good!
What is a piece of advice you often give but find yourself struggling to follow?
Challenge & reward yourself. Try new things. Open your heart to possibilities. Be present. Make bonds with people & experience the nuances of life. Travel. Eat. Run. Love.
Yes. An elderly ladies was struggling with a cart which had bottled water plus other groceries. Going down the street on a suburban sidewalk with tree roots pushing the sidewalk up. I have her a ride home.
