Regarding the question for "CAL/UCLA transfer getting a W for fall 2014 in a major pre-req and retaking winter/spring..." my major would be a stats/math major. Also doing UC-intercampus. I would then have two pre-reqs left to take, one in winter and one in spring. Would that look bad? Thanks!

Alexander Ho
You should be ok. Make sure to explain the W (the Additional Comments will be available in January during the Transfer Academic Update).

One laaaast question, I'm sorry for being a bother but you've been a lot of help. I listed six AP Exams I plan to take in May 2015 although after a lot of thought I MAY not take two of them. Is this something I should report to the UC Application change department? Thanks!

James Anderson
There is no penalty if you don't take all of the "planned" AP exams. But if you know for sure you won't take two of them, you should probably send a correction.

I heard that apps are read in order of submission and by submitting early you have a higher chance of being admitted, is this true?

Matt Duffy
No, that is not true.

[2/2] transfer admit? I currently am projected to have 78 sem units, but I was wondering if I could go to 81 units without it negatively affecting my chance of transferring to Cal from a different UC. Should I just stick below 80 units or would going to 81 units be okay? Thank you!

Berkeley's cap is at 90 semester units. Look at page 2 of the policy for the campus-specific caps.

Hi Ms. Sun, I've submitted my UC application for Fall2015 and was wondering if I could still change my tentative schedule for the Spring semester. Thank you for all your help and answers prior to submitting, it definitely helped out a ton :)

You'll have an opportunity to update your Fall grades and Winter/Spring schedule in January during the Transfer Academic Update.
Congratulations on surviving the UC application process! After you are done celebrating please leave some words of appreciation here so I may include a selection of them on my testimonial page. If words cannot express your appreciation, I accept gratuity as well; support Ms. Sun's Ask.fm page at http://askmssun.com/paypal/askfm.htm :) Rest assured your gratuity will allow me to continue providing UC admission information and advice to students everywhere!

I just noticed FOUR misspelled words on my application.. what do you think will happen?

Nothing unless you are applying to Haas. Next time proofread BEFORE you submit.

Hi Ms Sun, I was able to successfully turn in my application for UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. How will we be notified about the supplemental app that’s supposed to come out in January?

Frances Lee
By email.

I just reported my only bad grade in a college online class to Admissions. The class is not required and was an extra class I decided to take as a junior in high school. I plan on retaking the class for a better grade next spring. But will I get rejected or have a lower chance of getting accepted?

Justine T
I don't know what the class is (UC-transferable or not) or the bad grade (I've had students who tell me B's are bad grades; so I don't know what your definition of a "bad grade" is), or your major, so I can't comment.

I have a volunteer event that I did in 9th and 10th but for some silly reason I put 11th too (I was reviewing it today). Should I email them telling them I accidentally added an extra year?

James Anderson
Yeah, you should correct that. Hold onto the confirmation email in case you get audited.
