though i don't know the specific answer to that, you could definitely email joyce symoniak (jsymoniak@imsa.edu), the teacher that runs choir, for more info!
yes, it is completely worth it! though the reputation may be intimidating, i promise you that it can never hurt to try new and scary things. most imsa students best experiences have come from trying out new things with little to no experience!

nope! according to the "Residence Life: Important Updates" email, you only need to bring all the furniture and materials you'll need into your dorm, setting up can come later!

for sure! if you don't know where to start your career search, asking counselors can be a great idea, as they can send your resources on growing fields and careers that you may find interesting. teachers can be extremely helpful in this search too! even if you dont believe you're interested in a field they teach, you can reach out to them to try some new experiences out! who knows, maybe that's how you'll find your best fitting career : ) either way, it never hurts to check out resources like those teachers and counselors near you!

Friends, family, and most of all, FOOD!
Good luck and do your best --- if you get it, you get it, if you don't, you don't. Don't worry about it too much.
