Seeing behavior as right and wrong is relative. Even in religion, there are many things that are major and obviously wrong, yet they are considered as"okay" or "there is absolutely nothing wrong with that" many examples for that but there is no time or space to mention them here, and we will never have a definite answer for right and wrong, except in life, safety, welfare and freedom issues, we can all agree that killing someone for anything less than killing is just plain wrong, we can all agree that slavery should never, ever be allowed for any reason and under any circumstances, especially when its "sexual", and the list goes on, and off-course there are the many other things which differ according to culture and regionalism, and when it's right or wrong it is only so according to this culture, which is normal. so the reference you asked for would be, probably, maintaining the three things I mentioned above (life, safety, welfare and freedom) now matter what race, religion or even kind of creature you are dealing with....
