Being free of obligation for a while. It isn't about what I'm doing that I find relaxing, but what I do not have to do. Relaxation comes from not having to do anything, whether you choose to do something or not.
I'm a great listener, but I am horrible at showing I am listening. I'm in love with my own voice, so I'm a great talker too. I guess that'd make me a better talker than listener.
Around January of this year I met a lady that introduced herself to me at a show by saying, "fuck me in the ass if I'm wrong, but didn't we used to date?"When I told her I wasn't lucky enough to have had the honor, she told me it was my lucky night and bought me a drink (it was a Pepsi, since I do not drink). She was fun and we dated until I realized it loved someone else and I ended things with her and everyone else I was dating at the time.
Willful ignorance. One can admit to ignorance and still hold fast to their ideals, but to try and warp reality in order to hold onto a flawed idea makes me angry. Racism, sexism, homophobia, and religious/political elitism are not justifiable.
I love mutts. I think people that obsess over a single breed are almost as bad as those that are convinced there are "bad" breeds. Dogs are the reason our species has evolved to the point that we have, and it isn't because of one single breed.
Three last month and two planned so far this month. City and Colour, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Neutral Milk Hotel were all last month. Monday I'm planning on seeing Two Door Cinema Club, and then Third Eye Blind on the 22nd. Might see more between now and then.
