Whats it like to have a signature throw? Like, I dont know about you, but looking at a return top and being able to say "yeah, i made that" seems like it would be just an amazing feeling.

It's pretty sweet. I've had so many over the years that it's probably not as huge to me as it should be anymore, but I still remember looking at those first Freehands in packaging and it just felt so...official. It was amazing. -Steve

Will there be other colors of Basecamp hats besides black?

We sold out of the navy and red at worlds. So once we sell all of the black ones we will try to get new colors. -Chris

Why did you make the whole cup metal. It's like the coolest mug ever but I can't drink hot drinks out of it.

Hey I'm about to be 18, and I still have a lot to learn before I can ever think about becoming pro. Is it too late for me to strive to be a pro player? Also what do I do to progress? I tend to keep doing the same tricks over and over and I want to be great. Like Yuuki and Zach, etc. great.

I didn't start playing at all until I was 19, so you're not too late. :)
As for progressing...it's all just putting in the work. Push out of your comfort zone. Try new styles, play responsive, make mistakes and see where they lead you. -Steve

What happened to the Glacier Express btw? why did you retire it?

It was hard to make and the failure rate was too high for ano flaws and vibe. So we decided to retire it. BUT I bet our new shop could make something like it no problem. -Chris

If one were to strip the anno off a b-grade, would that help with the "flaws"?

If you strip the ano there is a good chance you'll mess up the bearing fit and induce vibe. -Chris

Will there be another run of the manatee? I've got one and it's helped me learn so much, but it's a little scuffed up. I'd like to be able to buy another for show and keep my best up one for practice. Thanks for rolling the dice on that one too, it's the best yoyo I've ever played with.
