Hey CLYW, I'm in a rut. I can't really get tricks right or string together a combo. Is the a certain trick path you can put me on so that I can be an expert? Like from begginer to Master. I want to be able to compete in WYYC someday.

Switch things up! Work on a style you aren't proficient in, fiddle around with kendamas and spin tops, but don't try to force something that isn't coming. Distract yourself, and let the creativity happen in your subconscious while you take a break from your regular style.

Everyone always asks "what yoyo will the next run be" I think I'm onto you guys... After running all the ask fm answers through a complex algorithm... I have concluded that it will be a... Return top. I know, this is some James Bond level spying...

Nicely done. ;)

If a multi-thousand dollar, high quality SLA or Sintering 3D printer with a 3 micron resolution just so happened to appear on your doorstep... would you make a run of all of the crazy designs that were never big enough to hit the machine, but you kept anyways? Hint hint wink wink?

We would be unstoppable.

I'm sure loads of people would dig a plastic bonfire. Is it something you guys may think/have though about?

We're thinking and talking a lot about plastic lately. First step is to deal with the Yeti...there are some changes we'd like to make, and we still have a lot to learn about making plastic return tops.
Then....who knows?

why does one drop handle all your machining? Does your lathe not work any more?

We never machined the return tops ourselves! We've always had that done at various machine shops, including One Drop and some in Canada. We tried to keep things "Made In Canada" but the shops we tried to work with up here just couldn't match the quality of One Drop. So instead of dealing with huge piles of Fools Gold and losing entire production runs of return tops (ouch) we decided to just move everything to One Drop. Easier to keep track of, and better quality!
