Do You Believe

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

As much as it would kill some of my bodily functions: cheese. I could eat entire blocks of cheese. If it's colby, colbyjack, or mozzarella, you can forget seeing any of that block of cheese ever again.

So I read your answer on my previous question, but you did not answer it properly. Can I borrow your PB grinder?

Allow me to quote from my previous answer verbatim:
"There is no PB grinder."

I have sent you a twitch message.

And thank you @Twitch for putting it in my "Other" folder without giving me a chance to move it to my Inbox. Thanks. >_>

Can I borrow your PB grinder?

Okay, we've been playing this charade for God-knows how long that there is an actual tool I use to get PBs. You would think I'd PB much more frequently if such a thing actually existed.
There is no PB grinder. If you could construct such a thing out of elbow grease, then and only then would I be inclined to believe you. I think it's been established long ago that I don't have much innate skill in games; all of my accomplishments have been done through a combination of passion and effort.
The lesson I've taken from speedrunning is that if you want to do something, you have to put your mind to it and take the time to make it happen. Nothing meaningful in life happens without effort and effort doesn't come easy without being passionate about something. I wish there was more to it than that, but at the end of the day, there really isn't. :/

is it true santa died of butt cancer?

Santa died because of YOUR sins, you know. You know who you are. You know what you did.

ah ha haw zing.

It really is a shame that North America didn't get a localized Nintendo Puzzle Collection, isn't it?

Are you going to start streaming again soon?

Lately, my head has been buried in Pokemon Puzzle Challenge and trying to figure out exactly what makes that game tick. I've found out a lot of interesting things about the game, but I'm starting to get to a standstill in my understanding of the damage mechanics.
That said, SRG's 4th Marathon is coming up and I'm hoping to run Pokemon Puzzle Challenge and Mario Golf: Advance Tour. I'll be brushing up on them in the coming days. Hopefully I'll get off my lazy ass and stream this weekend! :D

Awe cards <3 you're so cute

I get this comment a lot when I stream. I am a heavily-overweight lazy bastard. I don't know why I get this comment. Is my face really that cute???

I feel honoured to be your first question. Why did you start running ppl and stuff?

As corny as it sounds, when I was playing Pokemon Puzzle League when I was younger (I'd say "as a kid," but I was 14 when it came out), I literally wanted to be "the very best, like no one ever was." Like the Tetris Attack tournaments at PAX, I wanted to someday compete against others in a game that was very much my childhood. I had gotten to a point in PPL where I was beating S-Hard without continues with some regularity and I needed another challenge. I actually stopped playing for several years due to lack of interest. I would play it again every now and then, but it never felt the same.
Then after I was introduced to speedrunning and SpeedRunsLive (I'll leave that to another question, though the answer won't be near as interesting.), I found this group of people that were racing this interesting game. I could not believe my eyes. There were people running this game and there were enough people to race it. I was mesmerized.
After the first race I saw, I timed myself for a few hours of runs to see how fast I could go. The best time I got was a 27:20. I still have the run on my YouTube. There was another race... the next night, I want to say. I went into bankai's channel (twitch.tv/bankaipwn) to watch him go at it and told him about my run. He encouraged me to get into the races.
Not long after that, I got all of my stuff configured to start streaming and joined a race with bankai and pholtos. My time in that race was 31:51. I won that race. (http://speedrunslive.com/races/result/#!/49141) I also have that run still highlighted. (http://www.twitch.tv/cardsoftheheart/c/2256886)
As corny as it sounds, the rest, as they say, is history.
