I have several vegetarian friends, and they try to convince me to become vegetarian too. Not quite agree with that, so I would know what you think about it.
I was a vegetarian for 8 years. I didn't feel any better, lose any weight, or experience any great benefit. If meat bothers you in some way, be that allergies or simply moral reasons, you can certainly enjoy meals as a vegetarian. I enjoy the taste of meat, so I won't be converting back to veggie land any time soon. And as for the idea of hurting other creatures and whether or not that's morally acceptable, I think it's an individual choice that only you can make. Don't let anyone else tell you they know how YOU should live. They fucking don't. Whatever you decide, good luck!

Do you ever question if there's any good people in the world? I've been getting fucked over more than I'm willing to get into. Any advice on building trusts & how I should treat people & not get fucked over constantly?
I do question that, constantly. Look, in life you WILL get fucked over time and time again, it's just a fact. I prefer to know that even though that might happen, if I keep an open heart and stay giving and hold to my own ideals, I can still learn from each of these experiences, even the bad ones. And the upside to spreading love is that even though you WILL get fucked over, you'll also get love back sometimes, and when you do- there's really nothing better.

Well... I'd need more info to say. I think, if you're working on a MASTER's and have two Bachelor's degrees, maybe the problem isn't you field of study? In other words, maybe it's something deeper than what you DO. It would be a shame to throw away that knowledge and hard work unless you're sure that the root of the issue is you don't care for your chosen field and want to reboot. I'd suggest seeing a therapist and trying to get to the root of where your depression is coming from, before doing anything rash.

I gave my 10 year old daughter a cell pho for Christmas and now she has created snapchat account. Should I be concerned? I am not to familiar with it but I have heard things about snapchat.
You can pretty easily get yourself a snapchat account and follow her. I think the idea of Snapchat being used for nudes is a thing of the past, though. Kids mostly use it as a text/pic meme generator thing between friends, at least recently.
Has there every been music that you've listened to that makes you feel very unsettled?
For me that's pretty much entirely about my mood and the context within which I first heard the music. I guess the "Under The Skin" soundtrack by Mica Levi is pretty unsettling...

A guy has offered to sell me some video game stuff. Conversation originated over Twitter. I don't really know them. Any advice on making sure I don't get ripped off or whathaveyou? Maybe without seeming all "Prove you're not a crook"-y?
I mean, you should ask for pics of the game stuff and see if he/she has a Paypal account or some other method by which you might get a refund if the merch isn't in good shape. See if they're rated anywhere as a seller. a little Google detective work would probably help. Good luck.
