Many people(family and work)are not supporting my decision to get a degree in journalism. Most say I don't "have the face for journalism." Im 27 and almost done with my AA, I feel bad enough for too old for college. Did I do something wrong to feel this way or have people tell me I can't do this?
Well when they say you "don't have a face" for journalism, I'm guessing that means you're trying to be an on-camera reporter of some kind? If your friends and family are telling you that, maybe you might consider being a news producer, instead. It's still a career in journalism. Either way, I don't think you should give up, but it's harder than ever to make a living in that field, so be ready to grind for a good while! Good luck to you.

It's pretty stand alone as I recall, but I can't say for sure, it's been a while since I watched it.
