Not STRICTLY, but some would say it has a lot of the properties of a shojo. I think there's room for both opinions. Even if you want to call it shojo, that troll's opinion is still wrong!

I think MAN OF STEEL fundamentally betrays the character of Superman, and is pretty much a cool looking piece of shit. I also think Zack Snyder is a hack. (shrugs)

How awful was it WALL-E didn't get nominated for Best Picture? To my knowledge this led to a ton of controversy towards Best Animated Feature which many people feel is only there to prevent animation from competing against live-action.
I think you're pretty much right.
If you could show someone one animated movie to show them what animation truly is (A storytelling medium) and change how they feel about animation, what would it be?
I don't know that anyone who's anti-animation could have their mind changed like that. But if IRON GIANT, WALL-E, or TOTORO, or GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES couldn't do it, nothing can.
Why were the opening and closing songs replaced for the Big O season 2 American broadcast?
