Have you personally never liked Ninja Turtles at all?
I loved the comic books, and had the ORIGINAL run (the large format B&W ones) from Eastman & Laird. I sold them to help put myself through college (wish I hadn't, but whayya gonna do). Since I am not a 90's baby, I am not burdened with nostalgia goggles telling me the live action Turtles movies were not complete pieces of shit. There have been some pretty good Turtles toons over the years, the new one on Nick is aight. That's about it for me...

He's a hack. I like Unbreakable a lot, though. A sequel to that would be the one M Night movie I'd want to see.

Puffy Ami Yumi's music being featured in Teen Titans was my first exposure to J-Pop. Their bio-fic series was a fun animated popcorn for the brain. And their album releases in the States exploring genres were fun and catchy. Did you have any hand in their exposure in the States?
Cool! I personally didn't have a hand in them, but Sean Akins and some other Williams Street folks filmed a piece on the band before they had a show on CN, that aired for a while...

I'd look our for Kid Koala, Coldcut, Actress, Lee Bannon, Machinedrum, DJ Vadim, Skalpel, Hexstatic, King Midas Sound, and Mr. Scruff. I found out about Ninja when I bought DJ Food's Jazz Brakes Volume 2, the same day I bough Portishead's first album. I liked the record and decided to look for more stuff on that label...

Do you have a favorite painting or sculpture?
I have favorite sculptors and painters! I love the work of Donatello (yeah NOT the Ninja Turtle, the sculptor), Michelangelo of course, Giacometti, many others. And as far as painters, my favorite painter is Mark Rothko, but I also really love the work of Caravaggio. Rembrandt and Egon Schiele are two other favorites...

Is there any particular reason you don't like the imagine dragons x Kendrick song or do you just not like it sonically?
Imagine Dragons is not a band I like at all. I don't like most "modern rock" or "pop rock" or whatever you might call it. Kendrick is good but he's not enough to save the song for me.
What do you think of how audiences react to [adult swim]'s surreal and often absurd styles in shows and tone? Some call it drug addled nonsense and others think of it as an acquired taste.
Well, I don't know who "Some" are, but we for sure get all kinds of reactions! You know what we never hear? We're "boring." As long as we're not boring, I'm happy!
