Swallowing your pride is the most manly way to make amends right?

Yes and no.
Depends on the situation...
If you continually swallow your pride/take the high road, while consistently being disrespected by the same person... That is not okay.
I think it's fair to still (diplomatically) stand your ground and set boundaries! Don't let people walk all over you...

Do you have an obsession? 😸 😇

- OBSESSED with potatoes
- reading fortunes/collecting fortune cookie fortune
- GOLD
- Lace anything
- Sunglasses/shoes that stand out (that's how I tend to express myself fashionably lol)
- Aloe Vera - obsessed with the smell and the way it feels when it's applied - makes me feel REBORN
- Covfefe (the white girl kind - aka has the "essence" of coffee on it lol)
- Past lives/psychics/the past/aliens/conspiracy theories/ect
- Arts n' crafts

What was the last movie you saw in theatres? What did you think of it? 📽️🍿

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Sound of Freedom
It was actually a really good watch 👍 Very informative and makes you much more aware of what happens/how child trafficking occurs...
I also think Jim Caviezel is a really great actor! He's totally underrated, imo ☺️ He's really great in "The Passion of the Christ" and "Person of Interest", as well!

Do you have anyone in your life who brings you peace?

I do... ☺️🙏
A few people I have in my life, are like, a breath of fresh air! I really yearn to hold onto the connections that have real meaning and have that spark/instant connection, more than ever! I need to be consistently mindful to value, treasure and MOST IMPORTANTLY nurture those relationships... They don't come easily!

If a woman asks her male partner “What are you thinking?” What is the correct response? Is there a correct response?

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoSquanchy
Lol, Reminds me of this meme... 🤣
I don't think there "is" a correct response, lol.
If you tell her "Nothing" she'll just think there's something wrong or something you're not telling her or your cheating lol... In our minds, thinking about "nothing" is literally impossible!! Like, why else can we not fall asleep at night? Lol (P.S. I'm super envious how my fiancé can sleep in like 2 seconds whenever her wants... I wish I could turn off my brain, toooooo! NO FAIR!😭😤 *Pouts*)
If you tell her what she "wants to hear", it'll sound like TOTAL bologna... BA... LOG... NAW!! If she's a wise woman, she's not gonna fall for that hog wash 😝
If you're "actually" thinking of something, but it doesn't pertain to anything in the moment and just random, utter, nonsense... Well, I'm not really "sure" what her reaction that would be? But I can imagine bewilderment on her part, lol.

How strong is your intuition about the future? Have you ever been certain about something in the future, and it actually came true and made a lot of sense? (What was it?🙊)

M1ssSemy’s Profile PhotoStar. i
I'm not very good at predicting the future, unfortunately... (That's SOooo NOT RAVEN🤦‍♀️🔮🙅‍♀️) 🤣
There are goals and dreams I envision and have, though a lot of times, what life has in store for me, tends to not fall in line with those... Or at least not entirely? 🤷‍♀️ But I still dream! ☺️
I WILL say... A lot of the things that did not make much sense in the past, make a lot more sense now ☺️🙏 and I'm grateful I was patient and stuck through it all... With my job, my fiancé, schooling, some of the hardships of my past, ect. It was well worth it in the end 🙌

Say you were going to a party with an "Area 51" theme, how'd you dress up? 🛸

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Ooooh, that would be fun!! 🤩😱 Why don't we party like this on the norm??? Lol. Make this a holiday danggit!!! 👽🛸
I'd be like... A totally retro alien! 🤪 Purple hair, extra eyes with different fun colors, sparkles all over my face, peace sign jewelry and just everywhere, maybe some foil on my head for an extraterrestrial touch, and holographic clothes!
Now... To figure out my spaceship... Maybe I could make one out of cardboard?! 🤷‍♀️🤪

How rare is your hair/eye colour in your country? For example, most people in Latvia are blonde with blue/blue-grey eyes. 😁

M1ssSemy’s Profile PhotoStar. i
I think my hair color is fairly common here (brunette) - I, at least, "see" a lot of brunettes here, or ones that tend to bleach their hair blonde, lol...
However, I googled my eye color and I guess it is not very common in the U.S. 😱🤩🕵️👁️‍🗨️
Who woulda ' thunk?? 🤪🤷‍♀️

What did you buy with your first ever paycheck?

GlindaBells’s Profile PhotoGlinda
I honestly think I had to buy multiple work shirts with my first paycheck - it was the food industry... Which is just unreal to me, looking back... Lol.
Like, what company makes you pay for your own work shirt with the logo on it??? They should've at least provided one for you to wear, freely (more or less, free)... Granted it was only 5 bucks a shirt, but still... Lol.

What do you call someone who trusts everyone?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
Naive... Which is not "necessarily" a bad thing, because it means you are vulnerable and more open to letting others in, than most! Plus, you are more willing to give someone a chance to show you if they "are" trustworthy.
I can also understand why some may trust more, than others... 🤔
Because how can someone "earn" your trust without you being "open" to trust, yourself? And vice versa?
I think you have to have those walls down... You have to unguard yourself... or, at least observe how that other person is with others? Do they take accountability for their actions? Are they honest and true with the people around them? Or do they do things behind their backs? Do they talk about them in good light or in gossip? I think actions speak a lot of words.
Either way, I follow the rule of thumb: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
I can give people the benefit of the doubt... But, don't take advantage of that.

If you ask questions on here or have in the past: Do you tend to write out questions in advance or send them out as you think of them? Where do you tend to draw inspiration from, if anything? 💬

anonamouse89887’s Profile Photoanonamouse
- A mix of both, but usually I plan and revise my questions, ahead of time! 😜 I have a notes on my phone specifically regarding questions I have/may think of, so I can ask others on Ask! ☺️ I like it, because it allows me to be curious, introspective and also see what other people thing/how they see things!
- I tend to draw inspiration from everyday life! Some Q's regard situations I have currently been going through/everyday life, others regard things I've seen from friends/TV/work/memes/pop culture/other social media/ect., some questions spark from people's responses on here and the questions they send me... And some are either silly random nonsense, like, shower thoughts and bedtime "I can't fall asleep until I ask this" thoughts, lol.

I always thought it was little angel kisses and God saying everything was going to be okay. The rain would wash all the worries you may have away and Earth's impurities! ☺️👍🌎✨

Excluding your work/job, what are top 3 things you think about at any given moment.

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoSquanchy
1. What I would do if the apocalypse or the rapture happened right now, lol. I sometimes question if the reason why I remember this life of mine/am conscious in this moment, is for a "bigger" reason/event, like that... Like, I'm here for the end of times? And I'm not sure why lol 😬🤣🤷‍♀️
2. Covfefe and chik-fil-a🤤 My two pick-me-ups!
3. My fiancé/family/friends - sometimes will be spontaneous enough to shoot a message to go out and be social and keep in touch ☺️

Tell us something you know because of the industry you work in

GlindaBells’s Profile PhotoGlinda
I'll have to tell you something from my past jerb (Retail), since my current one, is more confidential and I don't really want to lose it, by telling all their secrets to the world, lol.
- Basically everything is on the shelves... We do have a "back", but that's mainly for larger merchandise that does not fit to display upfront and online/in-store orders. Please do not tell us to check the back of the store for more... Just because the website/app "shows" that we have 1, that does not mean we do. Technology can be wrong... Our inventory could be wrong... It could be one of our displays... It could be from another store... It could be from a third party vendor - which is online and will have to be shipped to the customer or the store... ect. A lot could be wrong, lol.
- Also, there "is" a difference between an item # and a model #. If you're looking to price match another item from another store, you need to base it off of the model #. That is the only way it will be the same exact item, in order to honor the price match... I guess a way of explaining that is an item # is based off of the company selling it from their store shelves... And a model # is more universal, sold from other retail stores!
- At least at my store/company I worked for, it's "okay" to say if something was used/defective, as long as it's within the return policy. PLEASE BE HONEST 🙏 There's nothing worse than returning something and putting it back on the shelves, only for another customer to get it, and have to make another return for it, because it was broken/used/missing parts/ect and no one said anything about it. I always feel bad when that happens because customer service can be very busy/hectic, and it's hard to always have good checks and balances - especially during the holiday season... It's nice when customers are honest about their purchases, because you can put it exactly where it needs to go, and also, sometimes it creates a nice and sometimes peculiar conversation ☺️

I did! 😋
This thanksgiving my family went "semi" un-traditional and made ribs for Thanksgiving instead of turkey! They are mighty tasty 🤤
Also had green beans with bacon, mash potatoes, and Hawaiian rolls... 🤩

Oooh fun balloon raspberries lol 🤣🎈When the balloon spits back!
My bros and like doing that, too, cuz of the noises! We also played our fair share of "don't let the balloon touch the floor" and would sometimes make it interesting and turn turn the floor into lava so we couldn't touch the floor either lol🤪🎈
