I just don't like Funimation PR side of things as of now, even though Sentai Filmworks makes a lot of really questionable decisions on what titles to dub.
If I ever watch or read the news, it's usually CNN, but I'm open to different alternative international sources such as Russia Today, Al Jazeera, and BBC.
It's too early to tell. I can easily see why Aniplex's business model works since Aniplex offer a widely-popular and high-tier titles that makes it affordable for Aniplex to pull such business model. Ponycan is a different case because most of the titles they are involved in are in a lower tier.
Well, I do acknowledge that there are a few LGBT Christians and there are some Christians who support LGBT rights. That goes for the same for Muslims and Jews. The reason I point out a lot of LGBT folks are usually atheists or socialists is mainly because a lot of major religions in the world hold a negative view towards LGBT folks (especially the Abrahamic religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Even Buddhism, one of the most peaceful religions in the world, hold a negative view towards LGBT (although it should be noted that Buddhism has a strong disdain towards ANY forms of sexuality, as Buddhism teaches the idea of humility and avoid worldly desires, including sex).Overall, I believe that while people do use religious to justify any form of oppressive measures or douchebaggery, true believers of religion should be open and accepting.
It's most likely that there needs to be an agreement with the Japanese companies to air several of Sentai Filmworks shows in Toonami, not just Sentai Filmworks and Toonami discussing this together. Keep in note that unlike Aniplex USA and Funimation, Sentai Filmworks does not have a history of a business relationship with Toonami. However, this may change in the future. Regardless, both parties have openly expressed interest in working together in the near future. That being said, if one of Sentai Filmworks anime is going to air in Toonami, Sentai needs to initiate the dialogue first.
Would you be more down for a prequel adaption for Washio Sumi Is A Hero (the heart-wrenching adventures of loli-Togō-San and her buddies) or a direct sequel to Yuki Yuna Is A Hero?
Most likely, since these two are big classics for Sentai Filmworks and make good Collector's Editions. I'm also hoping that No Game No Life and Akame Ga Kill get Collector's Editions (particularly the later if Sentai Filmworks manage to strike a deal with Toonami for airing one of their titles).
