I have too many favorites, and they change. I tire of music if it is repeated.

When you go to a movie, do you like to sit in the back, middle, or front?
Fam, I do not like to go to movies.
First, there's people that are disrespectful like on their phone (glowy distracting light), or talk too much, or kick your chair, etc.
Second, the cost is ridiculous. I can wait a few weeks and rent the same film for less than half the price of one ticket and watch the film in my undies with whatever food I wanna eat. Nobody is disruptive in my livingroom.
If I end up at the theatre out of some desperation to see a film before it gets spoiled online, I sit in the middle nearer to the back but not all the way.
There just are not enough new films that I care to see that would make it worth the discomfort and expense.

If I could only explain. Watching this film about artists in relationships is unexpectedly triggering.
A guy I was with for years aspired to be an artist. He was not.
He did take good photos of landscapes. He was a shady dude tho. At some point he developed some film for me, and fked some of it up while developing his own.
He tried to steal my other negatives that did come out, and told me it was his art because he developed the film. (Yeah, no)
He used to accuse me of sleeping with my professors because I got A's.
I've spent my whole life cultivating my artistic talent. I didn't need to fuck anybody to get by. Least of all, him.
People who are so insecure that they lash out at their partners, or others that are just trying to live make me so angry/sad/frustrated.
He's dead and I am glad.
He was such a liar, and manipulator. And he wasn't even smart. He just came off like a giant asshole who wanted to BE ME, not love me.

I lived thru lots when I wasn't sure I had a choice. Others lived thru worse, and those worse circumstances changed eventually.
If I just don't do anything to make things worse, I go on. I kinda just refuse to go out under bad times. I wanna outlive certain things, so I just do.
Doesn't mean I'm happy about it tho. I fight like a terrier. It is just something I was built to do.
