Is it more important to love or be loved?

I love this question. :)
I'm also not going to answer it exactly as it is asked, I don't think. :)
I believe that God is love, as His Word says in 1 John 4:8: "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
To know God is to know love, because God is love.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." (1 John 3:16)
We know love because we know God. If we don't know God, we don't know love.
If God didn't love me first, I wouldn't know what love is. I wouldn't be able to love Him, myself, or anyone else.
The one and only reason I can love at all is because He loved me first.
I'm not going to say that that means that being love is necessarily "more important" than loving, because I am all for loving people, and it was even mentioned above in the verses.
But I'm just saying that I had to be loved before I knew what love was. Now that He's taught me what true, actual, real LOVE is, I can share it. I can love others.
I love because He first loved me.

What always sounds like a good idea but never actually is?

The crazy amount of food I eat whenever we go to a Mexican restaurant.

I really like your page. I am following you now.😊😊😊

Well thanks! I’ve been off Ask a long time now and just figured yesterday that I’d see if it’s still alive and kicking!

Are you the type of person who would spend time in the company of a stranger with pleasure, drinking cappuccinos and telling each other stories from life? :) ☕☕

That sounds super fun! :) I like the thought of making a friend in a coffee shop somewhere. Although I must say, I dislike coffee, so I’d be drinking tea. :)

If someone made a statue of you, what position would you choose?

Please don't make a statue of me. That's really really awkward...
