Most of the time, hell no. As much as I like Naruto and One Piece, the openings and endings are rarely good. I mean some of Naruto's openings are okay at best with one really good one, and a lot of terrible ones. Endings in Naruto are usually only okay, or weak. One incredible ending though as well as two worth listening to.
What did you think of the One Piece rap?
That One Piece's actual openings and endings are rarely ever good. I mean wow, generic jpop. Real goddamn original. As for the One Piece rap yo! Well the only real bad part was the line, "Chopper's doctoring." I mean other than that it was kind of so bad it's funny. I mean as someone who has a far better understanding of music than I use to, I can safely say if you want a good song, don't go to One Piece. The songs are not a strong point. Compositions however, wow are some of them incredible.
Crocodile's hook was a set of toy teeth in the 4kids version.
And DiC turned Sailors Neptune and Uranus cousins. Welcome to 2016, where both shows are now in the US uncensored, and not made to appeal to an American audience yo!
Al Kahn said kids were stupid, and will watch anything.
Well gee, do you blame him? I mean have you seen children's TV? Only recently has it ever been this consistently good. Prior to the 2010s it was always complete drivel, with a few diamonds sprinkled here and there. Though turns out he was wrong. Todays kids would much rather watch inteligent kids shows like Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, or Regular Show over idiotic crap Robot and Monster, or Wander Over Yonder. In all fairness though I don't blame him for having that impression as I was a little kid once, and I would watch anything. I regret ever doing so cause I gave baby boomers like that looney the impression. Lisa Ortiz, how could you ever work for him?
Wait you don't hate Jack Thompson either?
I can't hate him. He's too damn funny. I mean he actually thought he could get video games banned. I mean how on Earth do you take him seriously.
So you don't hate 4Kids?
I'm indifferent. They were a company that tried to make anime more appealing to an American audience. Now they failed horribly, but that was the goal of this company.
Drummond, Griffith, or Smith. Be honest?
Well Ryan Drummond put it best when he was asked by a fan. He said, comparing them is like comparing apples, oranges, and bananas. He won't tell you who's who, but together they make one great Sonic fruit salad. And I see what he means. I can't imagine Smith or Grifftith shouting about the real super power of teamwork, I can't imagine Drummond or White, shouting Elise, and I sure as shit can't imagine Drummond or Griffith doing the exhaust hose gag. Different actors fit different writing. Drummond made him sound like a cartoon character, Griffith showed Sonic's heart, and good side more than any other actor, and surprisingly Smith makes him sound like kind of a dick, and I find it hilarious. lol
Only twice did I honestly think it was that bad. One Piece being obvious, and the other being Tokyo Mew Mew. A show not needing to be censored, getting censored. lol Other times I like to watch their... attempts at making anime more appealing to an American audience to point out the flaws. Love their actors though. I feel so horrible they have that company on their resume for studios they worked for sadly. I mean Lisa Ortiz, and Bella Hudson are some of the sweetest, kindest people and for some reason they worked for a company like this. I honestly don't get it. Oh, and Jason Griffith was a good Sonic. lol
Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Brook all love watching Blues Clues together
lol
