It's the last resort. Most men aren't. It's far and away the tiniest minority of men that are violent. Just more men than women. Why? Testosterone mostly.

Who do you think would win in a fight between an army of Daleks and an army of Vampires? Are Daleks even equipped with the very particular set of skills needed to 'exterminate' Vampires?? :o
Disintegrating them would probably work. There's nothing a vampire could do that would even dent a dalek.

I think there's people who regard me as an enemy. They go to a lot of effort to treat me as one and to hound me. I tend to just feel disappointed in them.
