How does one join The Gentlemen's League?

One can join teh Gentlemens League as soon as the aplications open up again. They are now closed and will probably be closed until at least the end of 2014, but when they open up agani, it will be said so on the page. When that time comes, there will be some standards set which the League still has to discuss (so they are unknown for now XD). If you or someone else woud\ld want a personal notification once the applications open up, don't be afraid to send the League a Personal Message on Facebook. We will then notify you. This, however, does not mean you are automatically accepted as soon as the applications open up. I hope this makes everything clear. If not, do send us another question or a message or anything :)

What is everyone's social media such as ask fm and facebook?

Not everyone of the League will accept random friendrequests on fb or random questions on ask except for on the League page or on this Ask account, so... If you send a request or whatever, do say that you know them from the League :)

And the answer is: of course! I also bathe my hair in soy milk with a drop of lavender and a dash of cinnamon to give it that bit of extra x'D But no, I usually use my brush to brush my hair :P though I might use my comb when I feel exceedingly extravagant ;)

Why did you start The Gentlemen's League?

Well... That's a fun story. There is this public dansou group on Facebook and all of the League members are also in that group. Now, me and Hirozuki-Senpai noticed how most of the people were posting only streetwear, casual wear or make-up and try-outs, and there was this wave of people who looked too feminine for our personal taste. So we decided we should do something about it all and posted pics of us in suits. Yuuyami-Hakushaku followed... Suit... and we started talking how it was cool that everyone was suddenly posting pics of them in suits (and they looked really good, too!). The suits were liked by a lot of dansou's, so Yuuyami-Haku, Hirozuki and I randomly exclaimed something like 'we should make a group out of this' and I more or less came up with the name because I thought about the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and... Here we are... Kouni-Chan, Rui-Kun, Ryō-Hyung and Mister Yun joined (not in that order) and we are now... The Gentlemen's League.

Can we expect Dansou meetings or events organized by The Gentlemen's League?

Yes, you surely can! Especially in The Netherlands where the main founders of the League are located, you can expect a meet somewhere in the beginning of 2015. There is also this Dutch Dansou meet which Yomi-Ouji is currently co-hosting. Hirozuki-Senpai and Yuuyami-Hakushaku will most likely be there as well. The American part of the League is still thinking about whether to organise a meet or not. And sadly, our only Romanian member thinks there are not enough dansous in Romania.

What is exactly the concept of The Gentlemen's League?

The concept is to promote a sophisticated and fashionable dansou style. It's not necessarily something elite, but the group will avoid casual and streetwear fashion. We want to represent a gentlemen like aspect of dansou.
