Hii! Does protein powder make you bigger? I'm getting worried because my friends have been saying it's due to the protein powder that I'm becoming broader, Etc and I'm really afraid because my goal is to be lean, not big... Any advices? I do take optimum nutrition platinum hydrowhey/hydrobuilder!

Hi babe! A lot of people have the misconception that protein makes people "bigger" but in actual fact, protein is simply just protein. It's like saying eating chicken/ fish (which is protein) will make you big. Most people take it cause they can't meet they daily intake for protein. Hi may I know how heavy weights do you use for your various exercises like squats, lunges, back and etc?

Oh man! May I know specifically which ones? Cause there are so many but you should always lift according to your ability :] diff people are at diff level of fitness!
For the squats, I'm currently doing around 70kg & lunch is about 25kg. Doing lighter weights when it comes to my legs now cause I'm still recovering from my knee injuries :/

Don't you feel like continuing uni?

I thought about it but the only course that I wanna do is Sports Science & it's gonna be 4 years. On top of that, I'm not even sure if I quality for it cause I didn't have the diploma/foundation to take that degree as I took Business Studies in Ngee Ann. Shall see where this other road takes me then. Who knows, maybe it will work out even better heheh

What do you mean by stitches? :( no I don't usually eat before I workout. Is it advisable to eat then have a break before workout? And does my side stomach hurt because I don't do enough stretching? :(

Hi dear! I'm sorry if I took too long to reply! It's what happens with you eat before your workout without have enough "break time" in between. Hmm, since you didn't eat then maybe you can try eating something and rest for about an hour and a half then workout & see how it goes?
