Remind me (although I think I remember correctly) are you a fan of Game of Thrones?

AnitaakaMabel’s Profile PhotoMabel Bloggs
I watched the first 3 seasons then got a bit tired of it. I enjoyed it. But not enough to re-watch the last season to remind me where things stood before watching this new one. How about you? And how are you doing?? *Hug*

If a stranger were to look at the last 5 Youtube videos you've viewed, what would they conclude about you? Do you think these conclusions would be accurate?

Politics, humor, cats, music.

What's one weird tradition in your country?

Festivus. The airing of grievances, feats of strength... on an unrelated note, do people still watch Seinfeld?

2500 years ago, the ancient Greeks 'knew' that the sun was the wheel of a god's chariot. 250 years ago, diseases were 'known' to be caused not by microorganisms, but by inhaling bad smells. Why do societies pretend to 'know' things we don't? What do you think we 'know' now that isn't true?

GSCAustin’s Profile PhotoCAustin
It probably makes us feel better to "know" something of importance. Like we are more in control if we can explain it somehow. But then it seems to flip-flop. For instance, "new" findings linked immunizations with Autism. And now that link has become suspect. Another example would be to drink skim milk and consume low-fat dairy products. But now, I have been seeing many articles to the contrary. Scientists. Sheesh. 🔬🔭

The U.S. has been at war for 93% of it's existence. Starting with the Indian wars, and up until this very day, we have seen only 21 years of a time without war. We are fighting ISIS in the mid east, and fighting Syria as well, even though they are at war with ISIS as well. Anyone know why?

Because people suck. We have always had a we-versus-them mentality, and we are naturally territorial and violent. #bestguess

Quick, name your 4 favourite game of throne characters, and why

I haven't read the books, and only watched some of the show, but I liked Tyrion, Jon Snow, and Arya. Favorite villian was the creepy Joffrey.

Do you think powerful 3rd wave feminist leaders in Washington, D.C. are starting to lose momentum in their misandric agendas now that President Trump is in office? According to the First Daughter, he has always been feministic, especially when supporting equal rights for women in employment.

Well, someone has to keep our society from turning into "Handmaid's Tale." That show freaked me out so much because it is so timely and could happen so fast. Democracy and equal rights are precious and fragile. They could be gone in a blink of an eye. :(

You do realize the shelters that foster out cats hope the foster parent will keep one (or more) of them? How many of this group will you keep?

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoNeo Wants To Feel A Scooch
Yes, and that is usually what happens! Although that leaves them with less foster parents which they desperately need... they were trying to shove kittens in my pockets as I was leaving lol.
No, I am not planning on keeping any. My two resident cats have made that abundantly clear to me. 😑😸

What is the most psychologically damaging thing you can say to a child? Why?

"No one likes/loves you."
Kids never forget something like this, (even if it's not true) and it can affect their self-esteem for life.
*cries*

what does it mean to have a familiar face? people constantly come up to me thinking they know me, or they tell me i look "exactly like" someone else. any idea why this happens so frequently? how often do you have this experience?

sscabss’s Profile Photoscabs
Maybe the more in-common and symmetrical our features and coloring are, and the more consistent with the majority of our local population, the more it happens? If someone has red hair, green eyes, and fair skin, and they live in a population where many people around them have the same, it probably happens often? Solution: Dye your hair purple and get a nose ring. Then PAP hehe

The new trend in the US to fight "rape culture" is for moms to ask their baby's permission to pick him/her up. What say you? http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/06/15/moms-are-asking-their-infants-for-permission-to-pick-them-up-in-order-to-combat-rape-culture/amp/

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoNeo Wants To Feel A Scooch
Is this really a *thing*?? You don't ask a baby's permission to feed them, change their diaper, bathe them, give them medicine when they are sick, or pick them up. You do what you need to do to fulfill their needs and to care for them. Gawd. Lol

What is the most unusual restaurant that you have been to? Was the food good? Tell me about your experience please!

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
Well, this might be common to other people, idk. I'd never heard of it. It was like a Chipotle, or even a Subway, but only for sushi. So you go up to order, and they unroll a slab of rice or seaweed. Then you pick your protein, (I had salmon), veggies, and toppings. They roll it back up like a burrito, and then slice it into 12 pieces. It was delicious! I'd go again anytime. If they had it where I live. lol
