I really like crock pot meals, because you can throw stuff in there in the morning and come home to a lovely smell of dinner.
Beef roast, beef broth, little round potatoes, carrots, onion, butter, a ranch seasoning packet, or throw in anything you happen to have. Salt, pepper, garlic, fresh spinach, herbs, whatever. You can’t mess it up. No exact measuring needed. Nice leftovers for the week. 6-8 hrs on low

Why do you think about the Salem Witch Trials?
Because I know if I was there, I’d be one of the first women strung up lol
I feel a fear that that’s what happens when a society allows extreme religion and superstition into government. And when women are powerless and without rights. It’s a toxic and deadly combination. I could see it happening again in a modern era; America has always been a puritanical society, with a streak of violence and a mob mentality. Look at Jan 6. The calls to literally hang Mike Pence that day. Some people can be whipped into a violent frenzy rather easily. I could clearly see a path where people would use religious talk to do violent things in the name of God. So and so is a demon, etc. Sometimes I worry we are devolving.

Well, out of 3 male family members, one said daily (history buff), one said a couple times a month, and one said rarely because the thought of what went on in the coliseum (people and animals) made him extremely uncomfortable.

😆 There is this funny social media trend on TikTok where women ask men how often they think of the Roman Empire. Because most women rarely if ever think of it at all. Most men will say they think of it weekly or even daily, and women are confused and befuddled as to why that is. There has to be a gendered reason for this. I’ve read some theories but want to hear yours :)

Sure you can. Do something new. Learn a new skill. Change your housing situation. Get a different job. Find a relationship. Move. Cut ties with toxic people. Volunteer. Get a pet. People who stagnate and never change anything about their unhappy lives are the only ones with permanent unhappiness.

I’m never lonely. Sometimes it’s just boredom that people mistake for loneliness. If you keep yourself busy, then the time you spend at home becomes peaceful and restful instead of lonely

Girl, that’s cream of the crop to get a man who is smart, attractive, and who works in a desirable field. You have to be a little flexible. Personally, I say field of work is least important, followed by attractive. Smart is where it’s at with men. The nerdier the better, they will worship the ground you walk on and are usually very resourceful. But anyway, aren’t you married? If you are recently divorced, it’s best to chill awhile and not jump into another relationship. Because it often is just repeating unhealthy patterns.

Yes I’m sensitive to sound. My upstairs neighbor is a 911 operator and works weird hours. I can always hear her coming and going. I just keep a fan running
