How do you come up with many amazing tricks?

To answer your question, I go to a school where we are required to take music theory classes. I try to think of yoyoing in terms of music.
For example, I try to switch "control" of the yoyo from left to right hand so the trick doesn't look too asymmetrical.
Most of the time when I yoyo, I have a playlist of my favorite yoyo players on YouTube playing. My favorite players are: Lazar Medvedev, Ivan Maslin, Ahmad Kharisma, Nikita Apon, Gabriel Szalay, Keiran Cooper, and Daniel Flaherty.
