I have a friend who says herd immunity (purposeful exposure to the virus) is the key to Covid control. This once was a popular practice-- a kid gets a childhood illness and all the neighborhood were sent over to catch it. Were you ever intentionally exposed to an illness like this?

No! Thankfully i’ve always been vaccinated.
Think the herd immunity idea has now been discredited and should not be followed, by states or individuals.

If you're sporting a medical mask these days, what kind do you wear (paper, handmade, bandana, gaiter, etc.)? PAP if you want.

I wear a map because it’s a legal requirement. A plain black mask, non-medical.
I do like some of the fancy masks but I only have them on for a few minutes each week (am cycling to work instead of taking the bus) so it doesn’t seem worth it!

When I climbed Snowdon in 2013, I was feeling pleased with myself and it was even better when I saw an eagle flying above.
'That bird', I said to myself, 'is my spirit animal'.
Took a picture to celebrate.
Only when I looked at the picture did I see the pigeon on the floor! So I am now cursed to be a pigeon :)

Neither! Don’t like the ‘food’ and I see both their containers littered on the ground, literally every day.

If it's clean, I'm not really interested in presentation unless it's something completely outrageous like spilling over the plate etc.
I cooked an aubergine curry today and was going to take a picture and send it to Chef Ramsay for his feedback, but chickened out! Suffice to say my meals rarely look pretty, but are healthy & good.

Opinion on wearing face masks to keep ourselves and others protected against covid?

I haven’t really thought about it, but I am doing it. I have a black mask that I wear in shops & on the bus.

What's the last thing that you successfully mended, and the last thing that you failed to mend?

Amended an accountancy query at work that had rumbled for months, but I fixed today.
Bollocksed up the door to spare room though, when I was trying to get to my suitcase of stuff to take on my holiday in September. My dad will come round when I’m out tomorrow and fix it, in exchange for me doing shopping and dropping it off when my parents are out.
I saw a cartoon of two hipsters trying to assemble flatpack furniture and they looked at the manual, which said ASK SOMEONE WHO DIDN’T GO TO UNIVERSITY. I’m not a hipster but this is uncomfortably true for me when doing practical things!

Depends what you mean by technology?
I was born in 1985 so don't remember a time with no cars or tv. I do remember no internet or mobile phones, at least no one I knew was using them.
Given the age profile of this site I suspect you want me to answer yes!
