Do you think that your relationship will last the two years Austin is gone?

You know, I don't have a clue as to what the future is bringing for us. Some people are with each other everyday and still don't last that long. I'm positive that there are going to be some difficult times for the both of us while he is away. Times that are individually overwhelming, and times where we will both question whether we are doing the right thing or not by trying to make that distance work. I have definitely thought about it. Just thinking about it puts a knot in my stomach. Truth is though, I care about Austin far too much to not be able to hear all about his adventure when he gets back; and I'll do my very best to be there every step of the way. He has never given up on me. So to answer your question, I hope that it will last. I really, really hope so.

How did you and Austin get together?

Wellllll long story short, he had invited me to come along with a few other friends to Mormon Prom back in May. We all had an awesome time. At the end of the night we went home and Austin dropped me off last. I had been wanting to tell him how I felt for a while, and it took me forever, but I FINALLY told him that night. It just went from there!

How do you stay so happy all the time? You are always in a good mood when I see you.

You have to decide that sacrificing your happiness to things that are bringing you down is not an option. YOU have to be your own hero sometimes, and pick yourself up. Think of what is important, and of what makes you happy. Change your mindset and the world will seem so much brighter.

I think it's awesome that you are so supportive toward Austin going on his mission. I'm sure he really appreciates your care and understanding for him. I wish there were more people like you in this world.

I really appreciate that. I will always be here for Austin, whether he believes that or not. I am so inspired by how willing he is to share something so incredible with others. I am so proud of him for that. The motivation and compassion he exerts into his passions will touch very many lives while he is away, and I could never disapprove of something like that.
